I've played this game with 4 and 5 players quite a bit. Every time the winner has used a different strategy. Once a person won with using only 2 rats and no light bulb movement they did have both Neil Ratstrong and the color blind comic pages A very fun and light game.

I just bought and received this game recently, so I'm glad to see this teach. A few things weren't clear before that are thanks to you!

What do you mean, "No hard feelings"? I don't think poor Harry The Hamster would have much love for you two at the minute. There he was, trying to make a few bucks in his wee shop, and you two descended on it, like a bunch of dirty rats, and stripped it clean!. This is a great game, one I, a space nerd, was always going to buy, and indeed ordered it before it was even released. You're right about the player count though, the two player game's OK, but it takes four players to really bring First Rat to life; I've never played three player so can't comment. I Love First Rat. I haven't played it maybe five times now, and always lost but still enjoyed it👍 The theme is so charming, the gameplay not to complicated and it feels different with each plaser count.

Love the theme for this game, as someone who has plenty of room in a collection for fun and lighter weight games this is now definitely on my wishlist. That was quite a brutal beatdown of Naveen there, but if you wanted to really rub salt in the wound, you could have stolen the thruster bottlecap at the end of the game there for an additional 10 points :P

37:20 Naveen's nervous laughter 🤣 This is one of the most charming themes I've seen in board games....always makes me smile when I hear about it. I know people who don't game very often who would really enjoy this. Not going to pick it up just yet (as I play a lot a two-player) but am not ruling it out for a future purchase! Does anyone know how the solo mode works and whether it's any good or not? (P.S. Neil Ratstrong seems too strong.)

Great play through and very quick. I’m wondering if you can add the Greg rat from the solo game in a 2 player game. It might make it tighter for spaces and cheese.

I heard some surprising hype for this game. I did not hear how simple it is which is somewhat of a letdown; that isn't a deal breaker though. The theme is incredible, the points you mentioned regarding replayability are nice with the back of the board and the different comics. It does seem it has a space in a collection for a lite game that plays 5 well and does it in roughly an hour, which is something in this day of gaming. It could be the end cap after two heavy games for example. It does seem that you shouldn't be allowed to collect the resources and turn them in on the same turn, not sure how making the building action instead of moving would alter the game. Thank you for reviewing this game. Based on your comments it seems good but not great so I think I will hold off on it . Trying to just purchase great games that play solid at 2 players and scale up to 4 quite well.

From personal experience, this game is great at any player count. You just have to modify your strategy accordingly.

Let's eat the mooooon :P This game is super cute and fun. And you are right - it's so light that can be taught to everybody. I've played it only on max player count. In my first game I did almost everything Monique did with the exception of Neil Ratstrong. I had the free tunnels instead. And a friend broke the game with the bottle cap for the cheese donations and another one for points if you haven't build the rocket ship. He had 7 cubes on the cheese track. It was crazy. But we all laughed so much. Good game :)

Does the solo mode have a bot that clogs up the board thus limiting the players options? If so, then I think that this bot could be included in a two player game making it more interesting
