This concert was live streamed and I paid to see it on a long archive. Saw it many times. Like their recent Yokohama concert. There isn't another band I can happily watch and listen to many times, be it a song or concert and never get bored. The music is varied and wonderful and a great reminder of when music was worth listening to in the West.

If you notice, after the first chorus, Saiki's voice cracked. They have a habit of playing a game live where they try to make Akane, the drummer, break rhythm by making faces at her. As in this case, Akane usually wins.

Still dunno how Miku can jump in those heels! 🤔 Maybe she really is part pigeon? 😀 Been fortunate to see these girls play live twice in the last 2 years. They played for nearly 2 hours each time! By far the best 2 concerts I've ever been to! ♥ these girls! Welcome to the fandom! Best rock band in the world right now! I suggest these Band Maid songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners, Bubble, Puzzle (live) & Onset (live)

No God...just 5 Rock Goddesses. I've been worshipping them for 6 years and in return they've blessed me with non-stop class music and a lot of happiness. Subscribed because I can see you appreciate their incredible talents and will no doubt be diving deep into their 120+ song back catalogue. PS This performance of No God was the 25th song on their 26 song setlist - energetic women!

Jamie, As you can tell, Band Maid is even better before a live audience. I went to 2 of their concerts in the U.S. this past year and they are amazing. One two-song clip that really shows how great they are live is from their one-hour concert at Lollapalooza this past summer in Chicago. The two songs are "Dice" and "Hate?" back-to-back without a break. There are several solos by Misa, the bassist, and Kanami, the lead guitarist, during the two songs. The band members loved it, the audience loved it, and the internet loves it. It has gone VIRAL!

Loved this song and performance! These ladies are in their element on stage! The mv's are great, also, but Band-Maid is really a live band! More Band-Maid, please!

Pop punk wouldn't be too far off, but they do more classic rock like *"Manners,"* or completely out there *"Black Hole,"* and when you decide you've got them pegged they'll give you *"Smile"* or *"About Us"* to give you a reason to use a hankerchief; and then a live combination of *"Dice"* and *"Hate?"* just so Saiki can sing "I hate you I hate you" at the Lollapalooza crowd. She doesn't actually hate _you,_ she hates Lisa's husband who couldn't be true. Oh, and the Christmas 2021 acoustic concert ... but let's not get too far ahead of you. Check out *"Manners"* and *"Blooming"* next.

Glad to see you are enjoying your Band-Maid journey. This past Summer 8/23 The Maid's played a Lollapalooza after-party at night and a few hours later took one of the Mainstages to perform a set that was live streamed on Hulu. During their live set they played a two song combo Dice & Hate (video can easily be found on KZfaq) that may one day be looked back upon as their watershed moment in their becoming noticed as one of, if not the best Hardrock band currently in the World. So yeah Dice / Hate Lollapalooza Live is a good place to go next.

Love this band like no band I have done before....So much so....I was at this concert!....I flew out to Japan from the UK to be there....The opening concert of their 10th Anniversary Tour.....And I have just recently returned from Japan (10th Dec) after seeing them AGAIN!....on the last date of their 10th Anni Tour at Yokohama Arena...No band in my 55 years has made me want to fly to the other side of the world to see LIVE....TWICE!......Saying that ..May I suggest Ohrenje's channel documentries...Starting with Saiki (singer)...then Kanami (lead guitar, main composer), Akane (drums, perscussion), MISA (Bass), Miku (Rhythm Guitar, vocals. main lyricist.).....Miku founded the band..and its the longest doc...These should give you a much better idea of the members and their history...Long May They Reign!👑

Breaking Stereotypes is interesting you found Band Maid. When the founder Miku came up with the idea for the band , it was cute girls playing good music. She called it the gap.

Pop punk is absolutely in the Maid DNA. This particular song is actually very progressive and complex, despite also being a jump and singalong song. That’s what Band Maid does best; bending and blending genres. The main riff of “No god” gives a nod to “Ace of Spades” by Motörhead. The rest? Who knows what inspired Mincho besides coffee and cake? If you like the pop punk vibes, “Blooming” has that, plus some beautiful transitions. For something unique? “Daydreaming,” their uptempo alternative rock ballad. The variety in the Band Maid catalog will shock you

This show began the 10th anniversary tour in January 2023 at Tokyo Garden theater (TGT). I was there and thought how can they top this. Well, Misa - "Hold my beer" (Po!). The tour final in November 2023 at Yokohama Arena was "one for the ages," Po! My eyes were leaking throughout the show and others in the crowd were feeling the same. There will probably be some new MV(s) coming soon from the Yokohama show and new Anime closing song. 🦍🍌

This is one of their more "progressive rock" tunes, as Band-Maid is tough to pin a genre on them. I just say they are Hard Rock and leave it at that. If you want to see more of them having a good tome on stage check out "Freedom" from the same concert". Also let me suggest if you didn't pull this off their Band-Maid Official KZfaq channel do so. I have only two regrets in the Maid Verse First that I had NO CLUE who they were when they played Seattle at Akria Con in 1n 2018 and then that they sold out in four hours for the second time in Seattle in 2022 so fast that tickets went form $25.00 to over $200 on the secondary market. No way a university food service person about to retire could afford.

Pop-punk-funk-rock whatever...Band-Maid are a very versatile band, but definitely has heavy punk influence, and Pop for sure, but not as pop as early beatles and some 80s rock bands and artists.
