You probably know already, but Spring Day has never left the Melon chart, same as our Billboard. It goes up and down but it's a way of Never forgetting. We call the song The Queen. It's a reminder to cherish and never take the people you love for granted. The tragedy should never be forgotten. It's a very meaningful song for ARMY.

Spring Day is a big one for ARMYs as well. It even charted again after the boys (my men!) went into the South Korean ARMY. She is a reminder of our bond. This is actually the less heartbreaking video of the two big explained videos for tis song, if you can believe. The Italian Army video uses footage from the tragedy and the reporting on it, the cries of the parents, and goes into more detail of the corruption that led to the tragedy and the disgusting cover up that followed. So just be warned if you're asked to also react to that one that it's even heavier than this one. It's an excellent video, really well put together, but I find people request it without giving proper warning for the content sometimes.

This explanation was great but the one uploaded by Italian ARMY is even more informative. She covers more in depth about the ferry, the corruption, and there’s also real footage from news reports and interviews from the parents. It could have answered some of your questions but it’s much more heartbreaking to watch. RIP to those angels 🕊️❤️

You are my reaction twin, Tammy. I had all the same feels you are having with each video. I think you are due for something more lighthearted now - the fun version of Fire/Boy in Luv/Dope -from BTS Home Party (in pink outfits, no less) Suga's idea, which when you see it you will laugh even harder.

I have to say that I think this explanation got some things completely wrong and it doesn't explain the huge political risk BTS took with this MV. I truly urge you to also watch Italian ARMY's video to understand BTS's role in this. 🙏 It's extremely well researched and she even went to South Korea to talk to some of the people involved and was later invited to speak about it at a forum so I think her findings have a lot more credibility to them. But yes, as I always do, I will put a trigger warning on this recommendation because it is a tough one to watch but that's also exactly why it's so important. 💜
