Very cool to see your smiles during many of the Key moments. You brought a tear to my eye.. Definitely about connecting to each other on a spiritual level. However, their song "Enlightened" seems more like that! Almost 3 1/2 decades following Marillion and they still amaze me!! Thank You and God Bless.

wonderful song that truly comes alive when played live like this, and with one of the best lines ever "Put your arms around my soul and take it dancing" - perfection.

Agree - that line is perfection!

Your awesome smile totally gives away the best parts of the song. I love your youth and the fact you’re into this style of music.

It‘s been 40 years since I started listening to Marillion and I love this band. It fills me with joy to see how you react to their music. It has given me so much and accompanied me through all my life. Please keep on doing your beautiful reactions.

I like the way you smiled in key parts. I loved how your eyes smiled and brightened then too. Music and love are universal and can transcend through different cultures and peoples 🙂 Best to you 🙂 I like the way we perceive it the same 🙂

One of my all time favourite Marillion songs. I saw an interview with Steve Hogarth in which he was saying that the fantastic place referred to in the song was actually the mind.

Thank you Summer. I'm really glad you're catching up on those missing Marbles songs. I think you'll agree they're well worth pursuing. You've saved the best till last imo. Ocean Cloud is a biography about Donald Allum if you fancy looking him up either before or after. Great news Marillion have released the first song from their upcoming new album. Shouldn't be long now untill you're expanding your playlist. Weekend's almost over so I'll just say have a great week ☺

Gerald i am in total agreement with the Ocean Cloud comment but Marbles is just a masterpiece in it's own right. Been a fan since 1982 ;)

Thanx 2 your vids I’m gonna make my own Spotify playlists of this band = 1 that I’ll play when I’m drawing/writing or when I’m not getting on wiv my cello/piano/guitar lessons an 1 to listen when doing chores or just messin around that 1 will be my faves I’ve already started with their seasons end album- it’s mighty old but so far I 👍 the Easter song as it is long an has a loooooong guitar 🎸 lead it’s a bit hypnotic so’ll work well on my creative list (haven’t thought of a Spotify title yet) and I like the space song cos it sounds like a Russian circus on like being on a carousel (thx ggle) that’ll go on my fave list though their live one with the orchestra is sooooo mucho mejor 🙃 There’s soooo many 2 choose an I only know sum so it’ll take 4ever hopefully you’ll do vids on my fave ones as I like to see if someone thinks similar, wish I could listen to them when out riding but that’s danger an horses probably don’t care much for that kinda music though I’ve never asked them ?!🤔 anyways I’ll let ya know how I’m getting on an huge thanx for them videos g2g have 2 get back 2 studying

Yepoers peppers 🫑 it’s what I thought at around 3:30 when it changes key from the usual Fm to a higher C it’s just sooooo awesome and then h e changes key again to Gm just great transposition (finally get to get my piano composer speak into 1 of your vids way 2 go meeeee🤪)I just fell in love with it an it always resonates wiv me I gotta say the studio version sounds more spiritually uplifting strange to me that I prefer the studio version but throughout this song I just kept thinking of Wendy asking Peter to take her away an then I would think no it’s Peter asking Wendy to take him away from the poor cruelty that life in reality would throw upon him and for Wendy to take to the island so he can live what he believes to be his reality I think it’s a awesome love song an kinda like what u said at the end I noticed your next one will be the ocean song that is the next song after this on my fave album so far can’t wait to hear it though it won’t be til tomoz maybe we gotta stop watching tv thanx again 4 your crazy cwl vids Space McGaha an happy thanx giving 2 yoooooou

Via marillionations, from an interview with the Web France, in September 2004, h said, Well, it's a simple song, really. I mean, it runs very deep, but it is really just a love song. It's about escaping from your own life into a better place, even if it's just for a moment. So, again, I'm reluctant to explain it, because I think I would weaken it. If I went saying why I wrote it; and what it means, and where that place is, then in many ways I would ruin it, because everyone has their own fantastic place and they don't want me to tell them where it is. Because they know where it is. And it could even just be a place in your mind, it doesn't have to be a real place, even though it can be. I have an idea of where it is for me." Marillion is playing live in the UK again with their "Light at the End of the Tunnel" tour right now. They couldn't get anyone to underwrite their tour incase they had to cancel from a COVID infection. So, they asked their fans to help them with a £150,000 down payment and they answered. Fans who donated, called Lightsavers, will get their money back if the tour finishes without a hitch, plus they will get some cool thank you gifts, including Zoom sessions with the band, a digital download from one of the gigs, and other goodies.
