Street heart has always been my most favourite rock ‘n’ roll band, this song was absolute brilliant the solo and the song just blew my mind it just was the best sound of any song I’ve ever heard in my life best solo of all time. I know there’s a lot of Other bands that you really awesome solos but this one is clearly the best in my mind. This great Canadian band from the late 70's were pretty much masters of the cover song. I prefer their version of Under My Thumb to the Stone's original. Another awesome cover of theirs is "Tin Soldier" that was originally done by the band Small Faces, you will love this song. Some other killer tracks from this band are; Action, Hollywood, Here Comes the Night, What Kind of Love is This and Miss Plaza Suite. Some of the more notable members of the band are Paul Dean, who also played guitar for Loverboy, Matt Frenette drummed for Loverboy as well. Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve bassist also played with Red Rider for a while. I was lucky enough to have seen them back in the early 80's and I have to tell you, they didn't disappoint.

I'm biased, but the original Stones version is much better. Its songs like this that make you realize how important Brian Jones was. He was the most talented musician in the group and his opening of Under My Thumb with a Xylophone still sends chills up my spine. For decades the Stones refused to play this in concert because without Jones it never sounded as good.

A pretty descent cover of a Stones classic although this comes off a little too Pop. The Stones version relies more on Keith Richards guitar and Mick Jagger's voice is much grittier. It's hard for an old guy like me to not hear Mick's voice really selling the meaning of the song. Verdy listen to the original and might hear what I am saying.

"Under My Thumb", is an early Rolling Stones hit, around 65. One of my favorite songs of all time. Brian Jones played xylophone and Bill Wyman played the fuzz bass. Both were very innovative at the time when guitar ruled the world. I went to several Stones concerts, and they never played this song, after Brian was kicked out of the band. If you ever heard the original, this cover doesn't measure up.
