Just so you know, if you're not into Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and tokusatcu it's fine, don't worry about it. Even now that anime is more mainstream it's still a niche and even among anime watchers toku is still a smaller niche.

Kyouryuger's main theme was music, as in the music and rhythm of life itself. In the movie, the team learn of an ancient song, 'Dino Soul', sung by an ancient tribe of of humans, who, had a connection to the very dinosaurs they befriended to become the Kyouryugers. This very song later proved capable of purifying and even reviving those connected to these powers, though the latter needed the combined power of a full set of MacGuffins that were collected over the series. Heck, at the end, we learn that the Leader father traveled across the world to gather the fragments of Earth's Song itself, which ended up being the main theme, sung by everyone. I liked the theme of music and rhythm being connected to life, especially since it's an established fact that not only are liviing organisms affected by music, but everything, even objects, has their own unique resonance, which isn't too far from music and sound. That's where the high-pitched singing breaking glass comes from... The enemy they need their ultimate mech combination for actually used a cursed song to disrupt their powers, until they pulled through and threw the curse off, thanks to the peple cheering them on. And Toqger, well, the trains they use are part of the Rainbow Line, who are tasked with protecting human imagination. It gets a little convuluted, but that's the bare basics.

Miss America and Battle Cossack were actually replaced mid season. Though the exact reason was not stated, it is believed some type of contract dispute happened. Technically the actress that played miss America was half American but not much else is known about the situation.
