I enjoy watching riding on a road like this much more than viewing bikes lap a road course. You don't need to be going at break neck speed in order to get a thrill on a road like this! Isle of Man TT in California!

Hope you like it, get a power commander right away to help with the throttle response. Its kinda twitchy. But I love mine

That KTM is a really nice looking bike. You should come up with your own scoring system like Doug Demuro.... that way we get a real sense of how great the bikes ride.

I just bought one last week. I love my duke 790. Sucks they stopped making the 790. 2020 was the last year. Great price for all the extras you get with it

Ktm strengths would be the ride modes, quick shifter, better screen, and looks. Yamaha strengths would be price, reliability, parts availability and resale value.

I've got a 790 Duke and every time the TC has kicked in its saved me from a potential off. Max wasn't riding anywhere near the electronics kicking in so why bother turn them off?

@@iamthemobey likewise brother... I raced dirt bikes for 10 years when I was a lot younger but never rode a street bike. My wife supported me in getting one so I bought the 790 (8) months ago as my first. I’ve rolled on the throttle hot a few times cutting thru corners in canyons and i can feel TC kick in cause the rear wheel will slip and then catch the pavement again. When I get more confidence I’ll probably turn off rider aides to push myself to try and do some wheelies lol. I noticed tho with this bike if you dump the throttle hard enough out of corners, that front end will come up maybe 3 or 4 inches but then the rider aides kick in and it comes back down immediately
