I think that settling into the hardware that has matured will be the way to go- im not impressed by the mentions of a new motor... all i hear are potential issues and setbacks. This is the final phase boss iteration of a great wheel to begin with .. the lightest fastest most race winning wheel of all time- so far.

@@johnnygovroom well that's not good. What type of issues with the tile type motor? I mean are they failing or having sourcing issues? Apparently they've been used in scooters for a bit now, much smaller tho. Also going from plastic battery boxes to metal in the Master, I'd think would give it a much more solid ride.

regarding the master, there is more to the body change than just the boxes- the mobo tray is different there are significant things that are different here. The tile motor in this application will be interesting, EUC place a unique strain on electric motors do to how we stay balance on them, Im not saying its a guarantee disaster but , new tech always has growing pains @@vikingto

@@johnnygovroom the BioPad Kong and Wide have been difference makers on my Master. I have a new set of BioPads and E-Works Pedals here now for my V4 coming Monday. Get the Kong, brother. I promise you'll be even more in love.

its a 20inch wheel , i would expect it to do a little better for the range, but you got me thinking on doing a range test for the whole stable i have.

overall product quality? v13. Practicality and performence? begode master. yes I know v13 has a higher top speed but it has way way less torque

this has slightly different specs... the new controller is made to take advantage of the 50s battery- 36 mosfets up from 24.... its a beast.

@@EdLrandom it's not the same specs. The Master v4 even has field weakening whereas the normal Master is not capable of it. The top portion of the Master v4 is the EX30..with 50S batteries and much lighter than the EX30. So it has that great firmware, great control board with higher mosfet count so you're getting an EX30 power packed into a Masters body. I believe the motor is different as well and combined with the firmware we helped develop, it has much more available torque The Master v4 is not necessarily another version of Master as it is a redesign keeping everything we love about the Master with everything it needed. Mine comes Monday and it will be doing 3 major gap jumps that will have high consequence or high reward 😊
