The FIRST RIDE of the year 2023... Man its good to be back on the bike again! I hope 2023 is going to be a much better year for everyone *including myself*! Hope you all are having great holidays! The ktm 690 smc r was my blessing of 2022 what was yours or a nice thing that happened to you?

I think the sound difference is normal because you just swapped the slip on and not the whole exhaust system ❤️ still sounds good and looks even better

ive seen those titanium headers they look sick but $$$ it does sound much better even if its just a slip on rly hear the difference

I have no dB killer at all and they pull me over no problem. Just do what you want 😎

hahah well maybe in an other year ill remove it so i have an other sound upgrade haha *took me a year to get this exhaust :D*

@@ZauxieMoto I don't think.the ktmsmcr690 is loud. Sounds perfect with out.

I tried removing the DB killer on my Leo vince and yeah it was good louder but my bike was not happy without it! It was stalling basically EVERYTIME I came to a stop and occasionally it would even stall out in the middle of a shift! I think the bike needs to b tuned to run without the DB killer!

get a fuel dongle, its fixed the problem for me

yeah ive been adviced a fuel dongle too it does smell better/ richer but that might also be because im not used to smelling the bike without a catalysator XD

Hey, I need some advice, me myself I have my own 690 and I find the huge mirrors distracting by any chance can you tell me how I remove them? or you could make a video of tips for the KTM 690 including removing the mirrors

Hey Lidia! I have a videos where i instal my mirrors which are crg bar end mirrors! It's really straight forward you just twist them off *they have lock tide in them so it requires a bit of force* but then you are left with two holes you can buy plugs for them i bought them on ebay *something along the lines of KTM 690 mirror plugs* so there wont be any water going in them or buy mirrors you like with the same thread pattern! *Ps, i don't have the 690 anymore sadly i crashed it then sold it but hope you stick around!*

But I do have a question, what do you think is better a 450 or a 690

@@burialsbyU For regular street riding i'd pick the 690 all day cause less maintenance with 450s you have to do regular oil/oil filter change, air filter cleaning and valve checks every X hours piston changes are more regular. 450's are more race focussed so if you want to take it to like supermoto track days 450s are the best option! I had my 690 for mostly road riding and some offroad thats why i had 20/80 tires for some light offroading/gravel roads!

heeft deze nog een catalysator? want die zou ik er zwz uithalen voor geluid. Ik heb momenteel een straight pipe remus en die is pittig luid, ma zonder kat me db killer klinkt em perfect

Nope! De Arrow heeft ook alleen een DB killer! Loopt wel iets te zuinig waardoor hij soms still slaat met lage rpm's heb een fuel dongle / o2 optimizer ge installeert maar weet nog niet of die t doet heb namelijk nog niet gereden door dit geweldige weer XD

@@ZauxieMoto zou normaal gezien de probleem moeten oplossen, kheb een tandwiel 15 steken waardoor dat ik geen 30/u kon rijden in 2de want hij haperde te veel, nu doet die dat niet meer

You should try it without the dB-killer for once just so you can get a comparison :D

Je zou nog een tekmo header kunnen proberen, Dus een volledig systeem. Denk dat hij dan nog wat groffer klinkt met DB killer. Plus je krijgt er een performance boost van.

ja die titanium headers? die zijn ook wel super sick om te zien maar ook wel erg duur :( misschien in de toekomst als ik meer $ heb haha maar voor nu vind ik em wel ff luid genoeg :D als ik em power mods ga geven wil ik t allemaal te gelijk doen zoals lucht filter enzo want dan kan ie gelijk getuned worden. I took the DB killer out of my Remus pipe, don't believe it is too loud.

yeah i personally like it with db killer in specially on longer rides on the arrow it seems like a pain to keep switching it in n out :D Remus looks sick too

@@ZauxieMoto Kerel, je ouders hebben je inderdaad gemaakt, maar ook zij komen ergens vandaan, net zoals je motor zichzelf niet heeft gemaakt of per toeval is ontstaan 😄 Maar goed, even goede vrienden hoor, je bent vrij in je keuzes, echter gaan we allemaal vroeg of laat, rekenschap moeten afleggen voor hetgeen we hebben uitgespookt hier op aarde. We zijn allemaal zondaars maar Jezus heeft de prijs voor ons betaald aan het kruis. Wat wij moeten doen is berouw tonen voor onze zonden en ons vertrouwen in Hem plaatsen. That's all. En over dat schelden: het is echt niet nodig hoor. Je kan je punt maken zonder krachttermen 😉

Ik wist niet dat je Nederlands was! Ben blij dat we elkaar in de waarde kunnen laten en ook een gesprek kunnen voeren zonder haat of wat dan ook! Ja dat is een feit helaas duurt niets voor eeuwig mja misschien maar goed ook het leven is juist mooi door de ervaringen die je opdoet als je oneindig tijd zou hebben zouden dat ook minder waard zijn. Haha ja vloek best veel ben ik mee opgegroeid dus best moeilijk af te leren ga men best doen. Bedankt voor het gesprek helaas online vind je het niet vaak meer waar twee mensen van verschillende achtergronden nog normaal met elkaar kunnen communiceren .
