How does getting caught speeding in the USA work? Like if you got caught doing 180mph?😂 here in the UK anything over 100mph is an instant driving/riding ban pretty much🤣

Do UK cops chase @180? Also we don’t have traffic cameras everywhere. The short answer is IF you get caught in probably any state at that speed (think texas max speed limit is like 85 most states are 65 to 75)your bikes impounded and you’re arrested for reckless driving in the least.

@@Schnozwangler ah okay more than I thought. I thought you just get a ticket and that’s it😂but no UK cop car would catch a vehicle that can go 180 and they wouldn’t do it either for safety. But yes we have speed cameras on certain motorways and roads etc, that will catch you and just send you a letter with a fine and points on your licence etc.

Also did you ride in power 1 or 2? Power 1 with my moore mafia tune is insane but you lose power on the low end. Power 2 is for wheelies, power 1 for roll racing on my bike.

Apparently the R1 can have oil starvation issues when doing wheelies for prolonged periods? Looks like that's what happened to Kilacam's. Such a sick bike though, love the sound & mid-range torque vs the s1k. Definitely the best tail light on the market atm too.

And that's the main reason why I could never buy a r1 as my main bike. Such a downfall to a great bike, but at the end of the day its kinda wild that every other bike doesn't do the same with no oil feed to the top of the motor.

I use a go pro hero 8 with a nd filter and color graded in a editing software. Anything hero 8 and above will work just fine! If you want my settings just lmk

Yes I bought the cowl off of Amazon for $28 and went to wrap effects in Shawnee. They wrapped the cowl and the front fender piece. They did an amazing job for a really good price

dude you're going between gears without holding the clutch is that's normal?!

Yeah the bike has a quick shifter which allows you to shift without the clutch, and if it has a auto blipper you can shift down as well without clutch

Them shorties tho.. They look soo short lol. I can't decide between shortie or regular. Admittedly shortie will require me to move my hands around the grip more as opposed to regular length, can be used anywhere on the grips. If you get what I mean. And also I've got a bmw s1kr gen2 so have QS up n down So technically don't really need the clutch unless in doing low speed manoeuvres. But my OCD won't allow 2 things 1-to have one short one regular lever. 2- have one stock and one asv lever Loool So I'm forced to buy both and they have to be equal length 😂😂😂😂

Be careful with ASV levers with the S1K, A quick read on the s1000 forums brings up issues with the ASV levers not actuating the microswitches on the clutch. TWM levers have the most R&D behind them and work great with the s1k. Just looking out for you man good luck.

Good choice man! These bike are going to be collectors in a few years, and even years after that the price for them are going to sky rocket. They will never make a bike that looks like the ones we have again and its such a iconic piece of superbike history.
