This engine came to me in part of a job lot of model stuff. It was mounted (poorly) in a model but had no signs of ever being run. The engine felt 'new tight' and dry, but everything was free and it turned over nicely. Once on the stand, it took a bit of persuading, but eventually fired into life.
I purposely ran it rich initially, and very slowly leaned it out a click at a time on the main needle. I think with some careful running in, this engine will serve for many years, maybe in a c/l Peacemaker!
