As a R/C flyer for 40 years I have many engines including flat twins. BUT THIS ENGINE IS OUTSTANDING AND THE SOUND IS BEAUTIFUL . FANTASTIC ENGINE.👍

Big displacement full size WWII radial is without any doubt 'the' finest sounding engine ever made. The 400 Moki is without rc peer; THE best sounding rc engine. No other scale engine comes close. Even the Moki 250 is distant second. I have two audio cds of WWII era radial engines, Round Sounds volumes 1 and 2. Highly recommend for lover of radial engines. The exhaust rumble when those warbirds just pass in front of you- that sound of radial is absolutely soul moving.

sounds SOOO sweet!! Great looking engine! The only thing I find annoying is the prop and the camera's frame speed, makes it look like a 3-tanged boomerang!

gooniac33 , Moki has a 7 cilinder radial. Or take a look at Heilemann sternmotoren. They have up to 18 cilinders.

tune73 thats the normal moki style, you have to oil/lubricate it by hand After a couple of runs/flights.

Just curious. I used to start my Saito 1.20 with a little "flick" backwards after priming and rolling it past compression. Why can't they do that with a radial? the Moki radial has to be the sexiest sounding engine in RC.

Personally, I think it would sound better with larger diameter pipes. Those pipes make it sound tinny. Other than that , NICE MOTOR
