Lake Michigan is wide open from this mild winter we are having. Max, Logan and I hit up Lake Michigan out of Hammond, IN in search for salmon or trout. We found a few brown trout and the day was a success. We didn’t pick up any Coho yet but it is still early. #fishing #lakemichigan #lakemichiganfishing #salmon #salmonfishing #browntrout #browntroutfishing #cohofishing #southend #salmontrolling #northeasttroller #hondaoutboards #honda #hondamarine #lakemichigansalmonsetup #lakemichiganangler #adventurechasing

Great job. You have me wanting to get out but at my age, I'll wait a little for that 50 deg. day. Keep them coming I enjoy watching others doing good. Same thing on my boat. Love watching my grandkids 22 yrs old, do the work. I like the eating and perching. Any trout or salmon is the bonus.

Hi, When you say your boards are set at 100, 80, and 40/50. Do you mean how long the line is from the lure and the board or how long the line is from the rod to the board? Thank you and best of luck this season.
@BigLakeLittleBoat
@BigLakeLittleBoat 5 ай бұрын
Yes. The feet behind the board to the bait. I misspoke in the vid and said depth. My bad.
@BigLakeLittleBoat
@BigLakeLittleBoat 5 ай бұрын
When we scatter the boards away from the boat, we just kind of make sure that they are apart from each other and then we’ll run the outside ones really far over depending on boat traffic and how much water we want to cover
@scottgarbs7761
@scottgarbs7761 5 ай бұрын
Hi@@BigLakeLittleBoat, I generally scatter mine out as much as is practical as well. I'd be curious to know how far out you'd have to run your inside board to be sure you have room for a bite on your high diver, however you set the diver, should the fish come up right away. I've got that spoon too! Great show. Thanks
@BigLakeLittleBoat
@BigLakeLittleBoat 5 ай бұрын
@@scottgarbs7761 we normally dont bring out the dipseys until they are deeper in the water column but if we do, its because we have 4 people on the boat and we can run more rods. Probably only run the dipseys back 20-30 feet and the inside board is already 45 so it typically clears. Unless a king hits…. Ha
