Hello guys and welcome to my channel,
Montreal is the most populous municipality in the Canadian province of Quebec and the second-most populous municipality in Canada. Winter in Montreal lasts from December until April. The average temperature in December is a daytime high of -2.3 C / 28 F and a night time low of -8.9 C / 16 F.
In winter, we often see snow removal operations everywhere in Montreal City. I filmed this video on January 3, 2021, the first official day of snow removal, with my Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and DJI Osmo Mobile 3 Gimbal. This removal was filmed on O'Brien Avenue in Saint-Laurent Borough, Montreal, Québec, Canada.

not in all mayor cities......some city's maintenance is very poor in the winter..specially in Alberta, Saskatchewan

Careful what you wish for here in east Iowa can get real interesting,and not all to friendly.about 6 years ago we had a massive ice storm that toke out power lines trees and what not.and to make matters worse the factory ran out of ice melt 😱🥶

Absolutely brilliant. Not only do they NOT plow snow over the sidewalks, but they clear the sidewalks, too...... BRILLIANT. I'm moving to Canada 😂

@Colin Reid I've seen plenty of traffic in her videos. Pffft, we don't have the money and brainpower to come up with a better means of snow management than pushing snow and slush to the sides of the roads, blocking in cars, driveways, and already shoveled walks, causing people who aren't physically fit to risk their health fighting with often frozen chunky berms left courtesy of township and municipal plowtrucks? Some places here use loaders and trucks to move snow out of the way, but this is the most efficient operation _I've_ seen yet.

but the happiest countries in the world for 2022 are cold countries : Finland , Norway etc where it snows , no daylight for 2 months.... with climate changes i prefer Quebec, Canada... we have the best quality of life and winter is amazing : skiing, skating, sliding . cross country skiing etc ...summers are very hot for 4 months

They did it on my street in Hamilton last week. The road had become too narrow from the snow for two cars to pass each other. Happens about every two years here.

I used to run the blade for a city entity in Colorado and we would do the same thing. Some nights we would get as many as 600 10 wheeler loads.

After a big snowfall, the snow removal crew works 2 to 3 days non-stop, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

It's temporary for the winter. Some don't have a garage and others have a one-car garage but 2 cars.

Every city and region is different. Some cities have sidewalk plows, some don't and require residents to do it.

We have garages. Those makeshift tents are only allowed for a few months in the winter and it's usually in households where there are many cars and they can't all fit in the garage. Lots of people live in condos and walk ups so they have no access to a garage hence the temporary winter garages.

It's safe here for now, it's true, but from this Saturday we are going to be in lockdown, stores will close at 7:30p.m. and everybody needs to be home by 8 p.m., if not, police will be giving fines 1000$ to $6000, everything non essential will be closed as well.
