I referee semi professional football in Scotland. Between both the referee and the nearside assistant they should catch the red card extremely easily but I’m not sure how they’ve managed to lose the offender when the foul was so isolated and outwith the range of any other player. As for the handball, it isn’t a handball offence as the ball was played onto his hand from close proximity with his hand not creating a bigger body frame for the action he was taking. Accidental handballs are only punished when they lead directly to a goal i.e. not a number of passes before a goal Hope this is of use to someone :)
