Your brake switch may not have failed. Check on the pedal itself. There should be a rubber grommet that fits into a round hole. If it falls out, the lights stay on (grommet pushes in the switch and turns lights off when not braking). Also make sure your clutch pedal has the grommets as well. Should be 1 at the top of the arm (safety release to start) and 1 at the bottom. If they’re old and crusty or missing, $10 at Advanced. Easy fix.👍

Just wanted to say I've used the "its a lost hope" excuse on a couple projects for watching you rebuild the 240sx and other projects is really inspiring. I love this build! Would definitely like to see this become a battle of the work trucks and see which one is better. The Integra work truck vs the 300zx work truck!

For the brake light issue, check the top of the pedal to see if you're missing the green rubber plunger stoppers for the brake light switch

Good man Mike. The 300zx a rare sight here in ireland that's to our draconian road tax system. Anything over 2 liters and it gets insane on a car registered before 2008 as it was based on engine size up to 2008 and after that, it was emissions based. If you had a z wit the OG motor in it here, it would cost about 2000 doll hairs to pay your road tax for a year. Be a pretty smart conversion here to put in the KA and boost it. Mike look into poppy's Patina! You could wet sand the flaking clear and use their wipe on clear and make the z look amazing with no paint work!

Amazing work! Blazing trails! Also, for anyone interested in a great way to clean engine bays and engine grime, try a Citrus spray over harsher chemicals like Purple Power. Citrus spray won't damage paint, etc. I made a short video on how well it cleans and how cheap it is. I pretty much clean everything I can with the Citrus spray.

That Z1 clutch line is installed backwards. The Banjo bolt is supposed to go on the slave cylinder and the adapter port is supposed to go on the clutch master. Pretty unique swap though. Keep up the good work with the 240 and the z man!

good atuff.. when it comes to bleeding clutches and brames i use a check valves to help get the fluid to start flowing.

Re your allergies , try to find a local bee keeper in your immediate area . You can Google this , but local honey can sometimes counteract pollen / allergies etc as the bees process the same pollen etc in your area if that makes sense .

That screw is a bleeder. All z32 aftermarket 3 and 4 rows have them. The cooling system in the car takes a significant amount of time to burp with a larger capacity

My friends z32 had that brake light problem . It stayed on cuz of this little rubber grommet that was messed up or broken by the brake pedal assembly. Kinda a pain to access and change it but after he did it fixed the brake lights from staying on all the time.
