First Test of the NEW 2025 Honda CRF250R!

We spent the day putting the new 2025 Honda CRF250R through its paces at Fox Raceway today, and have come away very impressed with the changes made to the little red rocket. The chassis has a balanced, planted feel that inspires a ton of confidence in the front end, and the airbox updates bring the engine to life with crisp, quick, throttle response. As someone who loves 1980s CR's i really like the new retro shroud look, the only people who don't like the new look are the people that just bought a 2024 model and want to make themselves feel better for not having the latest and greatest.

When I saw the mxgp bike I wasn't on board. When I saw the final product, I fell in love LoL. Also imagine the retro themes that can be done with graphics.

This is like picking the 1988 RM over the 1989....this bike is Fugly, and I love almost every Honda except the 1981 CR's If they want to go retro, How about Silver plastic with Green or Red accents

Nice bike! Also the intro music is from the Supercross game. Lol👍😎 The new changes really needed to be addressed and they seem to have made a good decision and are having good feedback here👍

Swap, Pat and Tallon did a really good job of running down the new 250 Honda. Maybe a 250 Honda would be a good option ❤

For years, all the media outlets have said the Honda is too stiff and have created a massive false demand in the market place for fixes for these bikes.

Guys please keep the music away . 250 are all about power ... For exemple the new Triumph just by the sound you can tell the bike like to be reved to the moon compared to a yz or crf

It makes absolutely no sense “testing” a new bike on a track that’s groomed smoother than the road you drive your car on! A skilled rider can’t possibly give accurate feedback whether it be positive or negative.

You make a good point. Everyone feels and might even look fast on a track as fresh as this. It would be hard to really tell what the bike is like for most of us that don't usually see those conditions.

It makes sense for first impressions to get a quick feel . It’s too much work a media day to be doing a bunch of bike changes.

Nice! But, why is no one mentioning the fact that this bike is 5 pounds (450 is 4 Lbs) heavier. More weight never helps, especially, on the 250…

@@busby905 Well, l already know from previous experience that when a manufacturer does not mention (or brag) their bike weighs less than -or at least the same like- the previous year’s it is because the bike’s most likely guaranteed to be heavier. So, sure enough (as l expected) upon checking the specs on HONDA’s website, l noticed the weight increase. Oh, well. Hopefully, they distributed it accordingly…
