First Thoughts: 'Beta Voyage' AFK Journey's NEW Release Version

Looking forward to playing this incredible game and making content for it for many years to come. That's the important thing to know going into this reflection video. So, that said... I played for about 6 hours tonight (livestreamed on DangerGrey Twitch!) and just wanted to summarize some of the thoughts that I ended up with afterwards before I head to bed here and do some other content work in the morning. I'll be right back at it tomorrow streaming on Twitch.tv/DangerGrey beginning in the very early afternoon and carrying on every day this week until the Beta Voyage ends!
Let me know what your first thoughts are if you've been playing all the other versions of the game as well! Or, even if you haven't played ANY versions until this one - I'd love to get that perspective here too!

Would love to! Rhys! Thing is, I did get lucky and got a copy of him on the long term beta but at our level there, I’ll need several more before I can make any real judgements about the lad that I can feel good about. Such is the life of a f2p end gamer 😔 What I can tell you is that he has the longest range of any hero in the game (6) which tells me he is meant to be able to hit heroes from the entire board no matter what, and that his moves are built for AOE farming like Battle Drills trash mobs or campaign, and I have a feeling he’s probably really excellent at both of these - to the point that I added him to my 5 epic heroes during the Voyage right now to try and hopefully be able to get a feel for him possibly- fingers crossed. Also that he has no single target attacks to speak of, making him of little to no use on a boss or a Dream Realm fight etc.

Hi I am new to the game and I am lost now does it has an old version? I can't understand the maen story but going well by levels 😢 help

The main story used to be VERY good but it was changed recently and doesn’t make as much sense now so don’t worry - it’s not you!!! They are working on repairing it but the launch was a big deal and needed to happen I think 🤔 I am releasing a series of videos to explain the story to everyone over the next week!!!

Can I be a f2p in this game or not

I think so! I have been without too much difficulty - I will keep everyone informed of my journey towards first F2P world clear at launch, but if nothing too much changes, it will be very playable for F2P except for stargazin’ right now, and a wee bit concerned about paragons but we won’t know for a while yet with them.
