Not her 16th birthday, but she was 16 at the time this concert took place in early March 2014. Even I (not being a huge djent fan) think this live performance is a work of art.

Su going into full Goddess mode . Not her 16th birthday, which was Legend 1997 , but she was still only 16 at the time . Thing you notice in this is how petite Su is just 5.2 because Moa and Yui were tiny it made Su look taller . All that power and stage presence in a tiny package ❤😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

⚡ / 🔥 😱 🔥 She premiered the song the night before, at Budokan Red Night. Rondo is easily in my top ten BABYMETAL songs. Su performed three solos that night. She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) did two songs without Su ('4 no Uta' and 'Onedari Daisakusen'), and of course they all performed a bunch of songs together. That Black Night Budokan concert from March 2014 is still one of my favorite BABYMETAL concerts. Not only is Su brave enough to sing and dance on a tiny elevated platform in the dark, but she is also fearless enough to follow those amazing Kami Band solos.

Great reaction, possibly their darkest song lyrically as Su is caught in a recurring nightmare running through the dark from something she can't see, finally accepting there is no escape and asking whatever it is if she is going to die to show itself. The Kami Band here were Leda Cygnus (blue guitar, Takayosho Ohmura (gold guitar), BOH (6 string bass) and Hideki Aoyama (drums). This was early March 2014, 2 or 3 months after Su-metal's 16th birthday 9that concert was Legend 1997). The Nippon Budokan in Tokyo is a martial arts arena built for the 1964 Olympics, now also the most prestigious venue for concerts. All Japanese and many foreign artists aspire to play there, not so many ever make it. BABYMETAL became the youngest ever female band to headline there - Su not long turned 16, Yui and Moa still only 14.

Hell yeah, this song is awesome, I love a good bass solo. The intro does a great job of showcasing the band’s talent and this was also the song where I started to notice how powerful Su’s voice is

(Of course I love this version) "Rondo" is a musical form with a recurring leading theme. I can't tell how many times I have viewed this video. It is literally a rondo of happy dream for me. Kamis' (=Gods') super solos were excellent enough as a main event in the show, but once the 16-year-old Queen (as of 2014) emerged from the underground, she colored everything differently with her penetrating voice then turned Kami Band's plays into a ritual to summon her.

Night Of The 15 Mix (only the mix) and more new songs from latest album that you love like Monochrome and Believing. _"Akumu No Rondo"_ (or Rondo Of Nightmare) combines not only heaviness with dark waltz and dope time signatures changes but also delicate and fragile elegance that makes you want to grab your inception kit and go to rescue this 16 yo queen from this nightmare. Temporarily title song was "Kill The Alice" so it is like Alice but instead of Wonderland she's trapped in a nightmare trying to escape and avoid some evil entity. Rondo is a musical form in which you can hear a repetitive pattern, an example of this could be the song "Blue Rondo a la Turk". The Kami Band is doing their second magnificent intro of the night with their own set called "Mischiefs Of Metal Gods". They become regular after this special live at Budokan 2014 and leaving baby-bones, from early shows, behind, shout-out to them thou. They're Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums, this time Leda Cygnus is the first guitar. And no,.this was 3 months after the Legend 1997 you saw performing in Headbanger!!, Gimme Chocolate!! or Babymetal Death when she celebrates her 16th Birthday, still 16 here oc. This was the day (night) after the first live premiere of this song and she's dancing and performing like she already did a dozen times before, like a pro. Also she's showing some fierceness here dancing on that high dangerous mini stage with no wire and that's how she keeps winning everyone's heart. But not everything was perfect here despite their impeccable performance and sound, and the day before the girls face that dangerous challenge on the stage, taking their own revenge after coming back in 2021 to celebrate their 10 years and leaving those ghosts behind, fortunately. Like i said, YuppeMetal is the one behind this song and he took inspiration from "Protest The Hero - Bloodmeat" song, of course i recommend you to hear that blaster song. Thanks for sharing this wonderful SuMetal solo and my favorite along with "Akatsuki" (live at Budokan 2014 is another great choice) The other solos are great too and those are: - No Rain No Rainbow live at Legend S 2017, heavily blocked thou. - Amore live at Wembley Arena 2016. I include Su-Metal as instrumentalist here, because her voice is an instrument in this song and she is using it in an incredible style! So powerful! And her performance is outstanding, too! This was just before they came to the UK and played at Sonisphere in front of 55000 metalheads who mostly had no idea who they were,The One call it the miracle of Sonisphere and 35 minutes later they had the crowd chanting for more and out sold every other band in merch and it was captured on film so you can watch,Su has one of her moments were she is just totally amazing while doing ijime dame zettai as the closer to the set worth checking out 😉🦊 contact, i was there changed my life lol
