Fun, fun day. “Phone boxes that dont smell of pee”😂😂😂 too true. Exciting road trip. We did a trip starting in Durango, Colorado (Durango & Silverton train ride - Butch Cassidy film where they jump into the river) - coach up,train back); Mesa Verde National Park - amazing cliff dwelling settlement; Monument Valley - lots of John Ford/John Wayne cowboy films; Sedona - suggest Pink Jeep off road tours); Flagstaff (Lowell Observatory); Grand Canyon. We did not do them but lots of National parks - Zion, Arches, Canyon DeCheny, Moab. Be aware some are on Native American reservations and are dry - as in no alcohol. Couple of tips, pick up a cheap cooler as you should always have bottled water in the car, and pick up cheap sunshades for the windshield.

You should try and come on down to San Diego for a day too. Only about an hour and half drive south from DCA. You'd be able to see the Hotel Del which is the inspiration for the Grand Californian. And see all the Top Gun movie spot!

When I was 11 my parents took me to California.. we did Vegas, Gran Canyon, Phoenix, San Diego & LA - then back to Vegas. It was unreal! You see so much more when driving and even though that was 15 years ago, I still remember it so well. Road trips are the absolute best. I can’t wait to see the Vlogs ❤️

The decoy duck marks the location of a drain at the bottom of the pond. It's teathered below which is why it never moves.

I had lunch at Tiffins several years ago. They had a small-plates option where you got a small portion of more than one item. Loved it. The food was excellent. Looking forward to your road trip.

I went to Tiffins in 2019 with one of the tours . Joe Rhodie(spelling is not right) who is the imagineer for Animal Kingdom. I had the steak and it was wonderful.

I highly recommend Death Valley it brings back all the old cowboy movies. There are a lot of beautiful National Parks along the way

I highly recommend the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona! It's a giant airplane museum in the middle of the desert. Very surreal - a great stop along the way to Orlando!

I will be interested to see where you go on this road trip. It sounds as though you are more likely to be south of Nashville, though there certainly are plenty of touristy places you can visit here. There has been a lot of Florida content this year, and though I enjoy it, it will be nice to have you back to the Lodge soon and whatever places in the UK you decide to travel to and show us.

I know you’ve mentioned this in passing on previous vlogs but can you give some info on what mobile phone contracts you have and use in Orlando and also what your experience of data and Wi-Fi is like? I can see you used your phones a lot in the water park so desperately need some advice! 😆🇺🇸

Love a good road trip , how exciting , I can’t wait. We’ve only done a road trip from San Francisco to San Diego , including Yosemite. It was fabulous! Nice of you to fly with your mum ! I was just sad to think only 2 days left and now I’m looking forwards to your road trip ! Can’t wait to see what you have planned for the summer in the uk ! Great vlog x

Road Trip Stops I would recommend: Sedona, Arizona or Flagstaff (Route 66!), Santa Fe, New Mexico is one of my favorite cities in the US (so gorgeous!), New Orleans, Mobile, AL, head up to Asheville, NC for the mountains, back down to ATLANTA, GA (need a tour guide?), then back down to FL.

Hey guys we are 2expats that live in Toronto ,Canada , me and my wife both enjoy watching you guys . We’re heading to Disney for Wedding Anniversary in September. You should visit Alabama Hills in California, they are near Death Valley. A lot of TV shows and movies have been filmed there including Star Trek.

Nick and Leigh, I have a hand sanitizer that can hook to my backpack, no metal.Rubber caddy that you fit small hand sanitizer in.2 fl oz.Can get at $1 store, Walmart, or other stores for a low price, then no searching.

Your future drive across the US sounds like lots of fun. We have driven many times from Atlanta out to Denver, and from Chicago out to Washington State. Lots of fun to do, but usually we drove 8 hours each day. We've driven from Tennessee to the Grand Canyon for a week's vacation with our young children. Fun to do. On those trips we'd see big camping busses that have kitchens and beds on them that people from out of the US would take across the country to visit National Parks. Very interesting to see those.

First off, I love you guys you make me smile...I started watching you both during lock down and enjoy all of your vlogs. My family and I have been to florida many times and I love watching your experiences. What I love about your vlogs is your honesty...I am someone who likes 'value for money' so I appreciate your honest opinion on things like dining and snacks especially in disney. Just listened to your plans and heard you mention area 51. When we were in Vegas we did quad biking in the desert we were shown were area 51 was it was a thrilling experience that I think you would both enjoy. Also would recommend the hotel 'Garland' in LA. It has a free shuttle to city walk and universal studios, which was great on a night, it meant we could have a few drinks with our meal. The pool area was relaxing with great amenities, there were movies played every night.

Hi Guys, we have done lots of road trips in the USA but the crater in Arizona is still one of my husbands favourite things that we have visited I don't know if you are going to Sedona but Red Rock hot air balloons are a great company to do a hot air balloon ride with they pick you up about 6 in the morning and take you into the state park to take off they are the only company allowed to do this and it is amazing.

Brit living in Tucson AZ. I agree with Sedona and the Grand Canyon. If you stop in Tucson you have to try a Sonoran hot dog! Also having driven through Roswell, I would skip it. Overrated.

😩Im super sad you’re only going to Anaheim and LA … iwish you guys were coming up farther north in CA…. I’m excited to see all the stops you make on the road-trip ….if you decide to get a hotel in Anaheim this time puleeeeeze message me on FB so I can make suggestions of better places than the last time … it wasn’t that it was bad it was just so much farther than you have to be…omg nick… when I tried to describe the ride on Everest I’ve always said it’s like you feel drunk and I have never heard anybody describe it like that until you did …. I love it when you ride throw rides… Your scream cracks me upl♥️♥️
