Why not try to show a dress at the upper end of the budget? Try on several dresses beyond the two she already tried. I am entertained by the variety. And the show is for entertainment.

Not true, check all Goks episodes, a bride almost walked out after the 1st one, but she tried second.

She probably tried on more than two dresses , they probably edited that out

Every time I watch this show I think I’d shop till I find the one that I can’t get off my mind. And I know it would take more than 3 dress with a shop full of dresses to woo me

I think his comment may be out of context a bit. So many women come in with more reasonable budgets but want more expensive dresses and leave so disappointed. This appointment just happened to be quite the opposite and was probably a nice change for once.

He always puts people with smaller budgets in overpriced dresses but when someone comes in with a big budget he puts them in "cheaper" dresses. It's like he saves the expensive dresses for people with smaller budgets and then makes them feel bad about it telling them that they need to raise their budget for the gown of their dreams. Somehow the less expensive dresses are never around when people need it.

@@NH-tb2sm EXACTLY. the fact that i KNOW they have £700 dresses in that shop because i've seen them... on brides with a £5000 budget! but when a bride comes in with a £1000 budget it's "sorry darling the cheapest we have is £2500, can you S T R E T C H a bit?"

IMO, it was one of the best bridal dresses I have seen on this show. It was perfect for her, gave her a great figure and silhouette and was classy and romantic.

I think it's a really beautiful "costume" dress, but as said in other comments, it's more a beautiful dress on a bride that a bride wearing some beautiful dress ;)

Having watched a lot of say yes to the dress. They usually try a lot of dresses but cut them out if it wasn't an interesting reaction and to give the viewer the impression that it's easy and fast to find a dress at their store

Its not about bigger and better. Its about connecting with the dress. A less expensive dress can give u that feeling too.

You are writing that drama, my dear. Just say you hate David and no matter what he does you will find fault with it. He acted the same way he always does when the bride doesn't like the second dress - he told her to go back to the dressing room and put the first one back on. I want you to detail for us all the clues that you got from his words and gestures that he was mad or upset in any way. Sometimes I think that you people who pick David and this shop apart every single video have a problem with hate in your heart. You see what you want to see instead of reality. . All these different versions of SYTTD have a "scripted" ambiance. Gok has to fix the emotional problems his brides come on with. Lori and Monte have to contend with terrible family members. And this one usually has budget issues - most of the time having no money but want the stars and the moon. The fact that you have seen these so many times yet haven't picked up on these consistencies says something about you. This is a production, with brides who apply for the show, producers who mold the episodes for better drama, and personalities who need to have s schtick. So if you don't like the schtick of this version, fine. But don't forget that it is a show, with people directing it this way.

Agree, especially if they are getting married in a church. I guess I am old fashioned because in my day sexy and wedding were not words you would put together.
