Hey man, it is definitely possible! There are some legendary drifters in my country who used them to beat more powerful cars.

Stock 4k doesnt have enough power. 2T maybe on wet. 4AGE swaps are popular.

I think you jacked the car up at the wrong place. Old cars, better jack at the front tow hook, lower arm, rear axle, traction rod mounts.
