We rented a car from Tirana costing 25 Euro/day.
Berat was our final destination for our day 1 road trip.
Before reaching Berat though, we stopped by Elbasan to have a meal at a restaurant inside Elbasan Castle! We had delicious traditional Albanian food including tave kosi which is a yoghurt-cheese caserole...Yumm!

Isn't amazing the fact that only in Albania a church and a mosque can stand beside each other within 50 m perfectly fine ⛪🕌😍😎 Such a small country showing to the world a powerful message.

Skoda is Czech and is part of VAG (the VW-Audi-Group which includes VW, Audi, Seat, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, Ducati). What you drove is basically a VW Polo (or Audi A1) that is dressed differently haha. A Polo with slightly cheaper materials if you like!

The nick name of the town is actually ONE ON TOP OF THE OTHER WINDOWS not A THOUSAND WINDOWS. That's because the town is built on a slope and the windows of one house seem to be on top of the the other house's windows.

Lol Steve looks so miserable after he demolished that casserole with a “heartbeat”. My God Berat doesn’t look real.Looks like you guys are in movie scenes.All those stone houses make for a breathtaking scenery. You have no idea how jealous we are here,being stuck in 3.0 MCO while you 2 are having a blast road tripping in gorgeous Albania. It’d be awesome to see the inside of the mosque and the church.Hope you’ll have a chance to go in.

You guys had 2 staple dishes of Elbasan, "tave me kumbulla" pot with prunes and "tave kosi" pot with yogurt. Wonder if you had a chance to eat "simite me bugace," Elbasan's staple breakfast: bread rolls with buttered phyllos covered with melted butter.

Skoda is a Czech company that had been making cars for a long time since 1895. In 1990s, it partnered with Volkswagen to make VW cars and in 2000s, VW acquired it. Hence, you are driving a VW car made in Czech. Good car, used to see some Skoda cars in Malaysia some time ago. Cheers

You guys should have stopped at Labinot - Rozafa Fish City (a fish factory that has a restaurant, a café, a pool, a movie theater, giant statues of the most notable historical figures of Albania) and at Belsh (small pretty town by a lake) they are both on the side of the road you took.

I have a Škoda, they are part of the VW group, first time I drove one it was a hire car also, in Slovenia. Liked it so much , I bought I bought an Škoda Octavia vRS soon after. Architecture is great to view and things so traditional. Fruit and veg is most likely all organic and as such will taste much better. Lamb is very popular in neighbouring greece also and many places to eat are also called taverna's. That was one meat feast you had there. The guest house looks stunning.

You are within castle of Elbasan. Tave kosi or yougurt with lamb is very traditional. It is the best combination because not only it is tasty, but this combination neutralizes the lamb smell. You do not feel the lamb odor

Between Elbasan and Berat is a place called Belsh. I wished you could have stopped there for a drone view. There are so many small lakes there in the middle of the nature. I am sure you didn't know about it.

Berat it's 2000 years old city.its called city of 1001 windows.everything there its very old.minimum 500 years old,max 2000 years.i advised you in previous videos to visit it.now time to go to Gjirokaster...will be amazed too
