I think you guys would love Seventeen. They are the theater kids of kpop, so theatrical. There are 13 of them - Scoups (the leader), Jeonghan’s, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino. The blonde one playing the piano is Woozi, he produced the song with their resident producer Bumzu, together they produce most of Seventeen’s music. The music video for HOT is amazing, as well as for Super. They don’t have a core concept instead they are all around talented. There are multiple subgroups but the main ones are the hip hop team (SCoups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon) - most recent MV is Lalali, the vocal team (Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan) - most recent MV is Cheers to Youth, and the performance team (Hoshi, Jun, The8, Dino) - most recent MV is Spell. The name comes from 13 members, 3 subunits, 1 team. 13+3+1=17. There is also the leaders subunit (SCoups (hiphop unit leader), Woozi (vocal unit leader), and Hoshi (performance unit leader) and they have a great song called Cheers. There is the BSS subunit (Hoshi, Seungkwan, and DK) and their song Fighting was just picked as the cheering song for the South Korean team at the Olympics in a few weeks. And a new subunit JxW (Jeonghan and Wonwoo) just released a song called Last Night and the music for that is also amazing from a production standpoint.

You are right, Woozi, the main producer has a classical preparation. He is the blond guy playing the piano at the beginning and dancing at the center at the end. He is a music genius! Seventeen is a self producing group, all the members contribute to their music, their out of this world choreos and many other things. This group is not acknowledged enough in the west but they actually outselled everybody with their latest album. I really hope you'll dig deeper into them, it's really worth it!

Firstly, I like your intro & outro very much! You were completely right about the classical training, the song was produced by the blond guy in the piano, his name is Woozi, and he's classically trained, used to play the clarinet and can play several other instruments. He's produced almost all of the group's discography, in partnership with another producer named Bumzu who's been with them from the start, and they've released songs showing many genres like R&B, pop rock, swing, hip hop, EDM or most recently amapiano. He's said that in this song he sprinkled elements of some of their past songs, since this one is about musical creation and in particular their road of creation. They've come a long way since they started as teenagers in 2015 and now they have the chance to get these expensive and elaborate music videos, tours with multiple sold out stadium dates and even today they were at Glastonbury. If you wanna check out more about them I'd recommend their Killing voice video for a small sample of their music and to see some of their personality; also their recent music videos in their channel, to see songs not in that video and the different genres they've tried out, and how they usually divide themselves into units of 4-5 members (they are 13 in total) with each small group delivering different styles.

Seventeen (Svt) has 13 members and their music genre varies across the board. They debuted in 2015 and have three different sub groups within the group, performance, vocal, and hip pop. Each subgroup has its own leader which its woozi, hoshi, and s.coups. hopes this helps a little bit 😊

Svt, write, produce, and choreograph their own music, and that's a big part of why they are so good and long-lasting. One of their most popular songs Aju Nice (Very Nice) is so well known in Korea, Koreans who know nothing about K-Pop can sing this song. They are the UN ambassadors for Youth and one of their songs (Fighting) was just selected to be the SK Olympic national team's song! At their UN concert they got UN delegates to join in and sing with them. Seventeen can get anyone to have fun at their concerts!

thank you for reacting to seventeen. The message are really deep and very meaningful. my point of view, svt is telling us that they’re proud of their music combinations (classic and tech) but, they emphasize that the real maestro, who gives “command” in music is HUMAN! svt that always be there in their each songs, we can always feel the message and their emotions in their music. Also this MV didn’t use AI, they use 3D VFX created by artist. The robot dogs are real. the set are real, not AI. This show you that AI could never replace human artists because AI can't win to fight originality from real humans musician. Even the AI seems like "perfection" but AI are soulless, it lack human qualities & lack an ability to feel or produce deep feelings. human, are more capable than tech/robots (in this case, artistry)The essence of art by humans can't never be copied.

seventeen debut on 26 May 2015 & have 13 members. So, it's been 9 years already they in industry. seventeen have 13 members. they consist 3 units which is(hip hop unit, performance unit, vocal unit). every unit had their own leader. also there is a meaning behind it. 13(members) + 3 unit + 1 team = 17. The blonde one playing the piano is Woozi, he produced all their the musics with their resident producer Bumzu, together they produce most of Seventeen’s music. also, since from their trainee days till now, they have been producing, composing, lyricist and choreographing their own music. they can bring variety of genre in every single release/album. from fun/catchy, darker/intense, high energy dance songs, softer ballad-y songs. Literally anything you want seventeen has done it and done it amazingly They have some of THE MOST difficult choreos in ALL of music performances, and they call as the most synchronization group performance. the theater kids of k-pop & kpop performance powerhouse. if you watch their live performance, you will understand it 13 members is that they ALL can sing, rap and dance. they prove this in some of their live performances. They swap songs, i.e. the Hip Hop team can do the Performance team's most difficult contemporary art dance; the Performance team swap song with the Vocal team also the Hip Hop team can do it, too, they can do all the highest notes. and the Vocal team can rap AND dance as great as the Performance team. They're ALL amazingly talented & every single one is an all rounder! if you wanna know more about them, you can watch this guide. it's long, but worth it to know more about them www.youtube.com/@caratline

Seventeen is a very experimental group. From their debut, they have gone from funky pop songs to EDM, and now they seem to have developed a sound of their own. They are known for high-quality performances, with synchronised dancing and always know how to hype the crowd. That is why their live stages are thousands times better than the studio version!

Thank you so much for reacting to 17! The blonde guy with long hair that you see playing the piano is actually the primary producer in Lyricist for the group. His name is Woozi. He knows how to play the piano, the guitar, the drums, and the clarinet. They're really talented and not only are they incredible live performers, but their videos and stage performances have such good production value. I also recommend checking out God of music and hot. They dabble in many different genres from funkier pop to hip Hop. An incredible live performance I would recommend is their killing voice videob😊

Woozi, the blonde at the beginning playing the piano, wrote/composed and helped produce this song. In fact, he writes ALL of their music, and produces most by himself while assisting with production when others are brought in to help. It was released on their 2-disc compilation comeback of some of their greatest hits over their 9-10 years together along with 3 other new songs featuring their 3 sub-units: Hip-Hop (LALALI), Performance (Spell) and Vocal (Cheers to Youth). There is a total of 33 songs on their compilation album, with 4 being the new releases (including Maestro). Woozi said that when he wrote Maestro, he wanted to make it something that would show off and encapsulate all of their discography; so he used samples from 7 of their biggest songs and used them to create one BIG new song. When Carats (their fandom, as in 17-carat diamonds because Carats always make Seventeen shine, as they say) who have been following Seventeen all these years hear Maestro, they can easily pick out the 7 different songs that Woozi used. So it's like a very cleverly crafted "mash-up" of 7 songs. Woozi is a literal musical genius, and both Carats and Seventeen are BLESSED to have hIm in our lives. Woozi said the idea behind the song is to show today's questions regarding A.I. in music. If the industry isn't careful, A.I. could replace musicians. However, when used correctly A.I. can help musicians make even greater music. At the beginning A.I. has captured the sub-unit leaders, and members from the Hip Hop team coming walking in on their mission to save them. At first A.I. copies all of their moves and tries to become them. However, A.I. is defeated during the fight scene, and by the end A.I. surrenders to the genius of humans, and thus the reason Seventeen is standing and the robots are kneeling. There is a behind the scenes video of how the MV was made you should watch if you're interested. As for who the REAL maestro is, I'm of the opinion Seventeen is suggesting Carats are. The lyrics "following the maestro's lead" is key. During the fight scene Wonwoo's lyrics say (paraphrased) to tell him what tempo we want, because our wish is his command. It's also important to note that when Mingyu walks up the stairs to the stage, he turns around and looks into the audience where he sees someone holding the baton. The conductor is in the audience! One of the most beloved things about Seventeen is that EVERYTHING they do, they do for Carats; and they ALWAYS say Carats are the ONLY reason they are the success and worldwide phenomenon they've become. So it only makes sense to ME that Seventeen is saying, "Carats, YOU'RE the REAL maestro, because we follow YOUR lead, and will always give you the music you want." In 2023, their album "FML" won both MAMA's and Golden Disc's "Album of the Year" awards. It also broke ALL...and I mean ALL sales records in K-Pop history! The song that won it for them is the title track named "Super". It is absolutely EPIC and another high-cost production. Seventeen performed with 250 dancers, and nothing is CGI. You really MUST watch "Super". The lyrics tell the story of how Carats make them feel like "Sonongong", or "Son of Gong", the Chinese mythical monkey king on who Dragon Ball is based. So the whole video references the monkey king. Again like Maestro, Woozi (who wrote and produced the song, with help this time, though) is featured as the monkey king both at the very beginning and at the end. He has dark hair in Super, and is held up on a throne (both beginning and ending) by back-up dancers. It's just amazing to watch! Something else to know about Seventeen's 13 members. They're called "The Kings of Synchronicity" because not only are they THE MOST in sync group probably in the world, but they stay in sync while performing some of music's most difficult choreographies. Hoshi, the Performance sub-unit's leader (and the platinum blonde conducting the orchestra with the baton in Maestro) is their main choreographer. He used to create all of their choreography. They now have official choreographers who create most of their choreography, with Hoshi always providing input, feedback and oversight. In essence, you have just come across THE MOST unique, loving, caring, giving, kind, positive energy group in the entire music world...and that includes the Western world as well. Their songs are uplifting and always have a message. Many of their songs have full stories behind them...like their song "FML" which is TOTALLY based on "The Truman Show". SO MANY easter eggs in THAT video, it's also a must watch. So THANK YOU for reacting to Seventeen; and please react more!

Seventeen is a very talented group, thank you for reacting to them and I'm glad that little by little they are reacting to more kpop groups so I would like to give you some recommendations for future reactions 😁 -Txt, Enhypen, Le sserafim and New Jeans are incredible groups that are under Hybe (the same company as Bts) they have a really good discography -Aespa, Exo and Red Velvet, these are under SM Entertainment (one of the most important companies in k-pop) they are very talented groups, you will definitely love them Ateez and Ive, these two groups are not under companies as big as the ones I mentioned before but they have undoubtedly earned a place in K-pop. Ateez is a talented group that little by little has been growing recently they performed at Coachella, a very important achievement for them Ive is a very popular girl group in Korea, they have won the heart of that country thanks to their talent and good music and little by little they are growing abroad. What I can say about them is that they do not have bad songs. These are some groups that I like but without a doubt there are many more groups just as incredible I hope you give them a chance later ✌️

Seventeen isn't actually a group that has a big lore to follow, each mv is it's own self-contained story. This one is Seventeen vs. AI. There are some exceptions, Jun has solo songs "Limbo" and "Psycho" that connect and are going to be part of a trilogy, but mostly each story is it's own, which I think is now a fun exception to all the lore groups nowadays. It lets them branch out creatively, while allowing the music videos to match the song, rather than trying to make it fit into a story line. Jeonghan and Wonwoo just had a duo subunit debut where the story is so complex they also released a 30 minute audiobook about it. It has nothing to do with Maestro or Clap or Adore U, and I think that's fun. Groups with big lore are fun, but that's a lot of pressure to keep the group at the same number of members, and have the story not get so convoluted it stops making sense.
