We always have fire Extinguishers next to the car when we fire up in the shed

A lot was hopefully learned from that incident. I have a fire extinguisher on each wall because you never know when chaos will strike. Also have extinguishers in all cars. Glad it wasn't any worse.

Yikes! That looked violent, when I first watched it I thought someone ripped the garage door off the track trying to open it in a panic but that had to be one heck of an explosion to blow them all out like that. Thank goodness no one was hurt and everything is fine for the most part.

They make small fire extinguishers that look like flares that can be placed in a lot of places around your shop. Glad yall made it through and no one got hurt or nothing that can't be or hasn't been fixed.

These are the kind of videos that show us we're all human and make mistakes and stuff does go wrong. Honestly it would be cool if in the show they dove more into the broken parts and what it takes you guys to fix your cars

Holy macaroni! Thank god everyone and everything is ok. Also thanks for sharing, you could have easily not said anything but it’s a great teaching moment for everybody. Seems like there been a heck of a lot of shop/vehicle fires this past year or so, enough where it’s gotten me thinking about how easily it could happen and that I should make more of a conscious effort to be safer and better prepare for preventing one of my own. If you take anything away from this out of everything I’d hope you’d see how important it is to store that M1 in a separate area and or in a fire safe drum cabinet. Like you said, had it made it to those it could have been bye bye everything.

Oh my goodness, thank God everyone is ok, and also that nothing else burned, including your shop or any cars. Looks like everyone did a decent job trying to extinguish it. Fire is Always my #1 concern when firing up a new engine, or a component just worked on, Can never have too many Fire Extinguishers.
