First time fun in the rain for baby rescued black rhino

Күн бұрынTime spent in Africa working in conservation. This black baby rhino was rescued from Kruger park after she was stuck in a mud pool. The mother tried to pull her out and stayed with her for a few days, finally she gave up and left her.
This little rhino is enjoying herself in the rain, a break from the hot weather.
Black Rhinos are slowly recovering from a 96% decline in population, and are now up to about 4,240 surviving today, thanks to conservation efforts.

Disagree in that humans should mind their own business. Animales like this that aré accustomed to humans Will only bring bad things in the future unless they aré under human care for rest of their life.

But has this beautiful creature more right to live than a four month old baby from a native tribe in that country? It's not very wise to be good to animals and at the same time humans blame for only bad things. Most of the people are not so bad.

This is so amazing. The staff there has done an excellent job with this little one for him to be so happy. Usually baby rhinos are extremely depressed when they go into the care of humans because (like baby orangutans) 9 times out of 10 they had witnessed their mothers be murdered. Those who work with the animals as well as those of us who have spent time with a variety of animals know that they have emotions, thoughts, memories and their own personality. These orphans can actually die from their broken hearts.

Just having a Wonderful time, given the stress of losing her Mum. Thank You for all you do for these Precious Animals. 🦏 💗💗💗 such good news regarding the numbers for this species. The North White rhino not so good. Last I heard none left. Let’s hope this is wrong. The last few left went into the Congo at a bad time.

They have boned feet not hooves, those pads are pure fat and elephants are the same, they act like shock absorbers in a car, but in this case protect the bony structure of the foot and the joints upwards on the leg and shoulders/hips. In human legs the tendons do the same job partially with the cartilage and we still get joint issues..
