Remember to build your characters,read about their talents and skills, its the way to make ur characters strong to very op, also there are things like team comp and rotation mechanics in a team so u get damage most out of your team comp , u will learn along the way so enjoy!!!!

For your character builds I recommend you to watch some since Jinhsi is one of the best dps currently and probably in 1.2 also, Calcharo is also a dps but now pretty clunky to play and pretty weak, and also do dailies and do not use your crystal solvent at low Union Level, just by watching a few wuthering waves guides would significantly help you, also after you get a character I recommend doing research on her team and her build she's currently the highest dmg dealer with the majority of her damage to her 4th Resonance Skill just do research on her kit and you'll know.

Dailies give a lot of EXP. I suggest doing them whenever you play the game. They're found in the Guidebook at the menu. Starting with the dailies is generally the norm in gachas.👌 Rover, Jinhsi, and Calcharo are all solid characters. So you can freely invest in any of them without any worry. And if you need a healer, there's Baizhi.

Breakthrough leveling like sol phase is great feature for casual, This gave player choice to advance or wait and level up all their character. Purple equipment and gold equipment automatically locked to prevent these weapon to be used as upgrade material. Gacha game is live services game, they always update periodically. My first gacha game finish it's story in span of 4-5 years. Wuwa can be 10 years old and never finish it's story. Play it as long as you have fun.
