Phil Spector invented the Wall of Sound technique in American studios. ABBA perfected the Vocal Wall of Sound in Swedish studios. The thought was to take a hypnotic, catchy melody and then UNLEASH the voices of Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad not unlike a small bomb within the chorus. Never duplicated before or since. I grew up on this music. Being born in the 70's. I was raised on 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and today's music. I had a lot of favorite music's. But I used to sing and dance to the Pointer Sisters and Others. I think this is how you spell the Pointer Sisters. Look them up and play them one day..👍👍💖💖💖

I had the privilege of seeing Abba perform in concert in Portland Oregon back in the seventies. Back then Portland had people with style, class and Grace. Today all it seems to have is people who enjoy yelling and spitting in your face.

In my opinion, although there have been many great, great songs written and performed during my lifetime, this is the perfect pop song. Loved it since I first heard it when it was released.

We used to call that vibe "disco" and this was the crossover hit that soccer moms could groove on, only we didn't call them soccer moms back then. My mom bought the 8-track tape of this and used to play it in the car all the time. I would have been one of those kids in front of the stage had I grown up in Sweden. Then I heard Fleetwood Mac and everything changed.

Thank you so much for posting- it was a bright spot in a really bad day. For starters, I found out that a close family friend died under mysterious circumstances...and we suspect suicide. Then I found out this afternoon that music legend Charlie Daniels died. He was a large part of my musical life. God bless you for reacting to this musical gem of my youth...I might have been 11 when this came out. I'm so glad that you discovered this guilty pleasure that most people my age enjoy(but won't admit to anyone!) hahaha! Keep doing what you do. We love it.
