It sounds like "Arthur" but it's actually "half the" UK accent down south is a hard one to decipher... especially if you're from over sea's! Akala is far more subtle with his consciousness in this one (the FITB part anyway) but there are soooo many little touches and rhymes that show he is still on a different level (glad you caught the pope line) The second part is just the perfect blend of rap and poetry that take you on a journey. I close my eyes now when I listen and it’s incredible how clear a picture he can paint with so few words. Akala is just different and it’s important his art is shared.

In my opinion, the reason this FITB was the way it was (less conscious in a sense), is because this to me is him summarising the first decade and a half of his career. It's a recap.

Finally bruh. Akala got a sister called Ms Dynamite who's also talented. He grew up in an around Queens Crescent in North London, the war with active gang can been seen on you tube. When he says he played ball for the hammers he's referring to the Premier League team West ham but he got caught up in the streets, so don't get it twisted he was about that life but like he says In the PT, it's irellevent. as Akala said himself, quite the opposite, the danger is IF they play stuff like his and lowkeys on daytime radio and it resonates, the impact that would have, lowkey terrorist was unbelievably sucessful with no day time radio play, put it on radio 1, that would shake the foundations of the elite and they dont want that
