THIS WAS INSANE FOR A DUBUT. I hope they get all the love and their own recognition they deserve. Asa of BabyMonster, Hyun-suk of Treasure and Chanhyuk of AKMU (all YG) are credited as part of the songwriting, composing and producing team. They did amazing. We were worried when YG said Teddy Park (Blackpink's producer) wasn't participating in BabyMonster album BUT we were also glad because we were ready for something NEW. MAN WAS THIS A NEW SOUND ...

Looking at this audition, everyone has amazing skills. Plus, they're all pretty. It's probably closest to the style known overseas as a characteristic of K-pop. Hip hop bass. That genre is YG's typical style. Yang Hyun-suk, the CEO of YG, was a member of the absolute legend Seo Taiji and Boys. You did so well that I’m really looking forward to it.

The hype may been waiting for a long time but not one was ready for this! But the ending of the mv sort of reminded me the skating scene with blackpink in Boombayah a little bit. My bias’s Ruka and Asa slayed hard! I’m so proud of all girls in babymonster. I’m only sad because Ahyeon couldn’t participate in this because of her illness issue 😢 But overall best thing I have had all year when it comes to K-pop!
