Im a Ghanaian like Kwaku and i know though the song is in English he sings our african Twi dialect in many parts which you may not understand so let me summarize it for you the best I can in short simple form . So in Summary, he saids "due to hardships as a young man he leaves home to hussle in the outside world, to seek greener pastures, during this life journey, he was young and he fc.uks up a lot makes mistakes sometimes blew opportunities or money, but who doesn't make mistake, we all do. And its okay,, its part of lifes journey.. Sometimes he gets so stress he'll smoke some cigarette or whatnot ( NTampi) to ease off,, but Its a tough world out there and he will continue to hussle until he makes it.. And he's promising his love ones back home, one day he'll be back home soon and he knows they miss him but as a man he's gotta hussle. ((Hope this Summary helps. Its not perfect but close)) This song hits most Africans a lil harder considering due to bad governance in many of our 54 nations the youth have no choice but to leave home to seek greener pastures in West (USA, US, EU etc) so they can help their families. This is why this song is so relatable. Many dont live abroad cos they necessary love it but its because they have to hussle out west to help their many family members back home. Some haven't gone home in 5, 10, 20yrs, not by choice. Its too complicated to explain. Just don't judge them .
