No one out divas Cher, but she has the goods to back it up. She is iconic, as are her songs. Her album, Believe, is one of my top three all time favorite albums. Got in my 52 year old daughter’s car last week and that was the album she was listening to! For your next Cher reaction, I suggest going back to her early music, Half Breed is one I recommend.

The USS Missouri has a long and storied history. She earned numerous battle stars for her service in three American wars. She was the site where Japan signed its formal surrender, ending World War II. The last battleship produced by the United States, she was decommissioned in 1955 and reactivated in 1984 to support the Gulf War. The Navy had no advertising budget and thought they could use this video as an ad to get recruits. I guess they didn’t know Cher was a beautiful Savage. When this amazing video came out, so many military yelling and screaming at such an insult, the Captain almost lost his command but what they never mentioned was, men started volunteering, women too, to join the Navy. LMAO. My dad was a Marine, served 30 years in the military. He said that beautiful ship couldn’t have been happier to see Cher on her decks; the ship got to enjoy all those happy seamen dancing to music. Btw Cher was 43 years old and no more videos can be filmed on Navy vessels. This was a SCANDAL but I loved it then and still love it.

She really came into her own on the Sonny and Cher variety show in the 70 s. She was always a fashion setter and her singing is very unique. Cher is timeless through the decades. She’s been in the public eye since the 1960’s. That’s a very long time to have a career and she keeps on going. Seen Cher in concert three times. I hope to see her live again some day

32 years ago....Cher has always dressed to get your attention. Her Oscar dresses were amazing! Even back in the 70s w/Sonny & Cher show (her first husband) her outfits were legendary. She was 43 here. I'm laughing at your reaction to her outfit as most men do w/smiling & practically giggling. Of course you like it. Lol.🤣

You ought to see her outfits that she wore on her variety show " The Sonny & Cher Show" back in the 70's! I loved watching her!

This was shot aboard the USS Missouri, A Battleship with a very long incredible history. The signing of the Unconditional Surrender by the Japanese was onboard in 1945. My grandfather was an Australian shipwright working for a Sydney-based company before the war. During the war, he was on secondment to the Pentagon, to do the lagging on the boilers on the ships. The mighty Miss was one of the last ships he worked on before the war ended. I didn't find out about it until 1975, because of the Official Secrets Act. My grandmother received a War Widows pension from the US government until she passed in 2004, because Grandad passed from Mesothelioma in the late 50's/early 60's, from the Asbestos cloth used to wrap the pipes of the boilers and engines.

Cher is the Queen. The end scene in Mama Mia 2, where Cher is singing "Super Trouper" - the costume designer was having a hard time finding the perfect outfit for that scene, and Cher said to her " don't worry about it, I'll bring in one of my outfits from home". And she did. What Cher is wearing in that scene is her own clothes from her own closet. Here jeans are fantastic.

It is a real Navy ship and lots of fishnet. I went to one of her shows and she had 6 costume changes ON STAGE all as risqué as this outfit. What a show!
