Cody is amazing in concert. I went to his Dirt Tour concert. He came with Justin Moore. I will go back to him any time he ever comes through again. Solid pick for a live show.

We had an old man in our church north of Atlanta who had 80 acres and he was offered over 1 million dollars in the 1990s! They said you can do whatever you want to do with that money and he said I already am doing what I want to do so no thanks!!😊

I saw Cody Johnson a few years back when he opened for George Strait and he immediately became one of my favorites. He is outstanding.

The lyrics and the music video paint a story that the old man described in the song, reliving the memories, has dementia, and it's taking hold, but he still remembers those core memories because they were the most joyous parts of his life and they happened on that land. Those subdivision men mentioned in the song don't understand the situation that that man is going through, or what memories were ever made on that land.

11 years ago we had to sell our family farm after estate issues mostly greed from family that didn’t want or have anything to do with the farm, can’t listen to this song without balling my eyes out when a piece of land is apart of your soul it can’t be bought and to have it torn from you just sucks

You guys will be the outskirts of The Villages in 10 years if people don't start holding their land. The lakes in between are the last stronghold of the Central Florida that once was. Every year when I come to visit my sister I see wider expansion and development going in. It's crazy
