Delta is another great live singer, she’s also good friends with Guy Sebastian. She was a coach on The Voice Australia. When she was about 18 or 19 she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and beat it then just a couple of years ago during surgery to remove a salivary gland a nerve in her tongue was damaged and she had to learn to talk again. It took a year before she was healed. There’s a video on KZfaq journaling her story.

It was Hodgkin lymphoma which luckily has slightly better odds. Although it involves lymph nodes the treatment is a bit different.

Delta Goodrem is Australian, I've seen her live and met her with my daughter, who is also a cancer survivor... let me tell you she is even better live. And she could of been a model she is a stunningly gorgeous woman. She was signed with Sony at age 15... then with a number 1 in Australia and number 2 in the UK. On 8 July 2003, at the age of 18, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. In October 2018 complications after the removal of her salivary gland led to a paralysis of a nerve in her tongue. Goodrem underwent months of speech therapy to be able to talk - and sing - again. Some of her songs: Innocent Eyes In This Life Born to Try Believe Again Enough (feat. Gizzle) Wings

What I love about Delta besides her gorgeous voice is that she’s a real lady. She didn’t go down the scantily clad road just to sell music.

Delta is from Australia and is one of the biggest singers here. She can act, sing, and judge if you have heard of the show Neighbours Delta use to star in it. There are so much more wonderful things about her. I think you should listen to, Sitting On Top Of The World, Born To Try.

A delta is a complete and wonderful artist. Her songs are pure magic and love. She's that rare artist to find in the 21st century. I'm from Brazil and have been following her for more than 10 years.

Hi Travis, can you please react to Delta singing ( wish you were here ) It's about her friend who sadly passed away at 26yo I think. As an extremely biased Aussie I can say that she is Australia's sweetheart. It's so great that people from all over the world like yourself are reacting to our incredibly talented singer's ie: Guy Sebastian, Delta and if you haven't heard her before is Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham and a whole lot more. Love your reactions mate and I've been a subscriber for a fair while now. But yeah, we might be a little speck in this whole world but we have some of the best talent around. Cheers mate Tony.

Loved your reaction to our Delta. Isn't she just phenomenal? She started recording in her teens and is now about 30 years old with an amazing catalogue of songs, mostly written by herself. She plays piano. Having survived cancer, she has just gone from strength to strength. I liken her voice to that of Celine, Whitney and Barbra - the strength and clarity. I've never heard her miss a note either. She has recently undergone another health battle that risked her losing her ability to speak and sing clearly and it took 12months of rehabe to improve. She's a lovely, generous person as well. I believe she is going to be a support act for Back Street Boys on tour? Anyway, she's world class vocalist, songwriter, musician and person.

Delta sang with micheal Bolton on dwts usa one time and on the same episode had to step in for Adele who had a sore throat and couldn't sing both the songs she was meant to. so with an hour practice sang the song "Natural woman" and crushed it. it is on KZfaq please react to it.

She is a lot better live. Her latest performance of her very first single 'Born to try' she performs in front of the Sydney Opera house is stunning. She also played Olivia Newton John in the biopic "Hopelessly devoted to you'

Hi Travis, so happy you're listening to our Delta. She is in the US at the moment I have just sent you a link of the details via Instagram. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. Her voice is incredible and her piano skills are like a master. She is a wonderful singer songwriter. Writes about real life. Don't know if you want to see it but there is a video she posted on her recent trauma of having to learn to speak and sing again...It's not too long...you don't have to react if you don't want to but worth seeing as it shows just what a fighter she is. I don't know Delta Goodrem personally but I have seen her on The Voice Australia, being a mentor there. Just an incredible singer from Australia & so beautiful. When she plays the piano also she is sensational!! She is Australian 💝💝💝

You should listen to Lost without you and Born to try. Delta Goodrem potrayed Olivia Newton john in a special biopic. Olivia newton john unfortunately passed away last year in August.
