Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. Having watched well over 100 initial reactions to her, only one did NOT say she was "unique".

This is not even deep for her, this is more around her mid range, she can go really REALLY deep and really REALLY high. Most people start ether with her cover of "Can't help falling in love" (age 18) or with her cover of "Wicked game" (age 15) in order to get some taste of what she is really capable off and then go down through her plethora of masterpieces. She is 20 years old now, she has been performing from the age of 5 and she is a unique polyphonic Dramatic Contralto, there is no other voice like hers on the planet, you better strap on in that chair because the things she can do with her voice will make you question reality it self.

Interesting introduction song. She is well known as a contralto who can belt a d3 with complete authority and easily modulates the notes into intended emotions. Her version of Cant Help Falling in Love is incomparable. So many songs become hers. She has polyphonic sounds from a large larynx and fulll control since her preteen years. I still marvel at the irony in life, a single act of cruelty changed her life for the better. If her abusive mother hadn't cast her poor little broken body out like trash at that bus stop and rescued, she most likely wouldn't have survived her childhood and be delighting us with her talent today. This is just the most powerful female voice ever. It's able to be very heavy itself, this version is heavier, than original with the same instruments. Last year there was her duet with operatic bass singer, her voice has a similar power.

Diana is an extremely rare dramatic contralto whose voice can be polyphonic. The TV show is a Russian show whose name, although spelled out in Cyrillic script, is just the transliteration of the English sentence "Show Mask Go On" (without the word "The," because Russian has no such word.)

Funny thing is, this is one of my least favorite of her covers on this show LOL....she was actually quite sick during this episode. Still a great performance, but there is a whole catalogue for you to explore, from her early days, to her TV competition performances, to new releases of original music. She has an amazing variety, and a huge and avid fan base. Best of luck.

There are much better ones to hear from her. This is very good but there are other that are better. At 14 Wicked Games is where you should start then to rechenka at 15 then Cant help falling love by Elvis at 18 all are better examples of her amazing voice. She has endured an unbelievable and horrible child hood under an abusive mother and was saved by her current adopted mother. Today she is 20 and continues to develope her voice and her beauty. she is one of those rate gems that is not just a beautiful singer but a beautiful woman inside and out.
