In my opinion this wonderful and incredible version of Dimash,yes version because Dimash is a phenomenal genius,don't sings covers and don't copy/imitate the original singers of the songs,improve a lot and is better of the original song Hello of Lionel Richie..The song sung by Lionel Richie for me is very boring,and about the mv of the song i say just this,the story is very ridiculous and absurd,is like a mature professor that stalks one of his students,a young girl..If Dimash making a mv for this song would be a masterpiece like all his mvs..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever

Dimash literally has fans from all over the world. If you ever get a chance to see him live do because it is the most fantastic experience you can imagine. People from all over the world will fly in to see him. His New York concert as well as several others can be viewed on his channel. Rumor has his next concert in Hong Kong. Too far for me but we are all hoping he will do one in America again. Our music here in America has so little meaning. Once you get to know Dimash, and hear more of his music, especially some of his native Kazakh music you will see he usually has a deep meaning behind his songs. He brought music back to life for me. Dimash, Sinful Passion is a must.

Never liked this song until Dimash did it, & love this version no matter how many times I see it. Apparently Dimash has been forbidden to sing it again, so a duet idea is laughable. Lionel is always telling contestants to make songs their own, & that's exactly what Dimash did, but it's not acceptable for Lionels' songs????!!!! Rather hypocritical. By the way, am a cat person, so love to see your fur girl.

I grew up with Hello by Lionel Richie. I loved this song. But to be honest, I like Dimash’s version much better. Sorry Lionel. The melismas give me goosebumps without end. At the end he says “I love you” in Mandarin and then in Kazakh. This performance took place in 2018 in the same competition where he appeared in 2017. In 2018 he was a guest. The people in the background were singers and the audience (they are the jury-members). The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show in 2017. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. But he didn't win the competition because he was no Chinese. The following year they changed the rules and Jessie J. won it. Unfortunately, Lionel Richie banned Dimash from singing the song again and I dont know if that’s still the case today. The flute is called Sygyzgy and is mainly played in the Kyrgyz and Kazakh regions. According to Wikepedia it is traditionally played by shepherd horse herders. A wonderful sound. Opera2 was the second performance of The Singer competition in 2017 in China. The song is in Russian. A language he also speaks fluently. The original was from the famous Russian singer named Vitas. The song is very famous and popular in China. The audience already knew what to expect, but were very surprised when Dimash raised the pitch three times. Vitas but only once. If you want to know a little more about Dimash, then I suggest you to watch the video where his father was in the audience. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed. BTW the audience is also the jury. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. I love this video because he still seemed so innocent. Just a boy and he didn't seem as serious as he sometimes is these days. He still looked carefree. I survived the 80s as a teenager and couldn't stand this song. It was so overplayed and the MV was horrible. This is the only version of the song that I will listen to. I love the haunting quality that the sybyzgy gives it. Dimash can take a song that you've heard a million times and change it up so it's fresh and exciting. He's the best!
