This song came up in like 2008 on my Pandora along with In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and Scar Symmetry. I've been listening to melodic death metal ever since. So glad it's still alive!

What? One of my favorite bands? Disarmonia Mundi? Holy shit. Never did I think you'd react to this 😆. Dude. Do "Ringside Seat to Human Tragedy" I believe Christian Alvestam is guest vocals on that. Usually it's Speed from Soilwork on many tracks. Also check out their newer stuff on Cold Inferno. Like Stormghost, Coffin, and Oddities of the Ravishing Chasm

Wow thanks to whoever recommended this to you. Didn’t think I’d see this on a big reaction channel. Speed is one of the best and busiest frontmen in metal history. Is Devin Townsend In that song? One of the singers sounds a lot like him. I know he sang on one of Soilworks’ albums. Black Star Deceiver is the name if I’m not mistaken. Great song, I also think Devin Townsend produced the album too. I love Devin Townsend, lol. Dude is a genius.

rare to find reactions to Soilwork and Disarmonia Mundi, both great bands. I'd have started you with like Red Clouds or Quicksand Symmetry, much better songs, imo. Soilwork used to be amazing, too. You'd probably prefer their newer stuff, but I'd recommend Natural Born Chaos or No More Angels.

Fun tidbit: Ettore Rigotti (The guy in the shades) plays ALL of the instruments in the band as well as contributing vocals and mixing the tracks. Guy's a beast, but he's most well known as a producer. Lots of bands go to him for sound engineering.

Seriously? I bet he does great. Metalheads have a lot of integrity imo. Like the Iced Earth guitarist who attended the January 6th protest (it wasn’t an insurrection. It was a protest that got out of hand and turned into a riot and one person got tragically killed. Our news media is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. Seattle autonomous zone was a insurrection according to the dictionary. Sorry about the tirade lol, not trying to offend or upset ya. It’s just, sometimes you have to release some pressure and vent, you know?) Anyways, that’s awesome about Taiwan. It makes sense too, Taiwan defying the ccp (not even going to capitalize the letters. Capitalizing would suggest that they are the legitimate government and should be recognized as that. They aren’t and should not be recognized. Taiwan is the legitimate government.) and metal is a music of defiance and freedom. This story makes me respect Taiwan even more. Sorry about the length.
