Having his career interrupted led to fears that he career would be over, but they kept releasing new songs while he was in the Army. His fans eagerly welcomed him back when he got out of the service, and he gained respect from critics for doing his duty.

Yes he got drafted while making king creole. He got permission to finish it then went into the army . He trained at Fort Hood and then got stationed to Germany. He lost his Mum while there and he met Pricilla his future wife . Now she was 14 and he was 24 but in this time it was much more innocent . They kept in contact and married when she was 21.

His daughter ( Lisa Marie and her son both look just like Elvis) Lisa has had some good songs. She stopped the music bc she didn’t want her life to become so isolated like her dads.
