Show the 68 special to anyone hating on Elvis saying he was just a white guy who stole black music. He was a little more than that to say the least. And stood up for people of all colors. Including a tribute to MLK. I hate making anything about race but lately the hate has been strong. It's not just because he was white. The guy was the king. Had it all. Raw talent. A voice as good as anyone ever. And real soul in his singing. He absolutely loved it. With swag and looks that were unmatched. Great seeing you getting into it man 👍

1972 my mom dragged me to go see Elvis I walked into an event if you thought Madonna was something Elvis had fans like my mom diamonds limos unreal what did I get Best concert I ever saw his energy was that a piece and harmony when he sung those songs you couldn't help but watch in the feeling it was undescribable Elvis is the king

Yes there were risers behind those sitting around the stage full of a much larger audience. Also, there was a bigger band for other segments of the show.

Raw... that's exactly the right term for his talent and his sexuality. I was too young during this particular timeframe to quite understand what it was that made me uncomfortable...at ten I didn't know anything yet. It wasn't until much later that I understood.

We should throw so much love and appreciation at the special ones regardless of the music genre - from Jay Z to Stevie Wonder to The Beatles to 2Pac to David Bowie to Nile Rodgers to Billie Holiday to John Lee Hooker, The Bee Gees and so many more. And, of course, Elvis. These sort of people come once in a lifetime. It's great to see how much you appreciated that live rendition of One Night With You; no autotune. No technology. Just raw talent. The 68 Comeback Special is a superb showcase of Elvis' phenomenal talent and career. I never tire of watching it.

Swaggy you have no idea how much women desired Elvis and women still worship him..the sexiest, mpst gorgeous man to ever live.Women would shred his clothes.And for sure Elvis was woman crazed too.He always wanted one by his side

This was a TV "Comeback Special. The audience was his Fan Club. After this he started touring. I saw his first concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC. When came out you get chills because you Knew you were seeing a legend! Lights were all out but when u saw a figure walk on stage thousands of flash cameras from people photographing the moment lit the whole arena like daylight. I have seen Chick Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Rolling Stones but No One Commanded the stage like Elvis.

LOVE YOU VISTING ELVIS LIKE THE PATRIOTS EMBLEM IS CALLED THE FLYING ELVIS THEN PELVIS BUT HIS HIGH COLLAR and profile of his face. I think as a NEW ENGLANDER MYSELF I THINK THEY SHOULD DO HONEST TALKING AND CONTRIBUTE AT LEAST a song on there opening 💞❤🤍💙

This was the 68 Comeback Special on NBC. A beautiful song in a white suit at the end called If I Can Dream based on MLK & Bobby Kennedy, both murdered that year. It really affected him greatly. So they wrote a song for him to sing his emotions out because that’s how he dealt with stuff. He had such soul it. Oils reach out and grab you when you’re least expecting it. It’d be a great reaction video & so would “In the Ghetto “ in which sings live in concert in Las Vegas. That’s a great song so right long before his time and still relevant today. Those two are powerful & I believe you’d really like them. I’m hitting your subscriber button as first time. Thanks and hope to see some more of Elvis especially ones I mentioned. God bless.

As Mohammed Ali said of the great Elvis while Ali gave a speech ( is on video)..Elvis Presley is the greatest singer of all times.He loved Elvis and Elvis loved him.. I have not listened to you since Feb.

About these performances, the producer and critics said that Elvis sang out of pent up rage and frustration released because he was soon to be rid of movie commitments that kept him from his audience. Sure sounds like his audience felt the same way. Great performance to react to. Could you react to another one from the 50s that showed why Elvis was king?
