One time when a group of fan girls literally ripped the shirt he was wearing off of him and he was later asked in an interview of he was bothered or upset by the incident, Elvis replied, "No, sir, I'm not. They [his fans] bought the clothes on my back. If they the shirt off of my back, they can have it." That leather suit was the worst thing in the world for someone that sweats as bad as Elvis did to wear! He probably had to peal the trousers off when he changed clothes, you could really see him starting to sweat as he was singing that song. The wardrobe department really dropped the ball on that costume, I almost feel bad for him wearing it knowing how burning hot he must of got wearing it. If you ever watched the show "Friends" wear Ross buys leather pants, that scene is hilarious! But really shows how hot you can get wearing those.
