there was a song mentioned from an Ep named One. The song is called When The Bough Breaks done in 2016. They did another Ep named Two before the albums came out.

The ending portion of the song is a callback/reimagined version of the first song on their first album Sundowning. It’s called The Night Does Not Belong to God.

well.....how about Rain DYWTYLM and When The Bough Breaks from their Ep named One? that EP was done in 2016. They did another EP named Two in 2017.

@@paladinminipedro707 yep. There is a direct callback to ‘the bough breaks’ in the chorus itself. ‘Rain’ in the pre-chorus. Cant recall about DYWTYLM. I think there is a callback to the Apparition too.

If you have been listening since Sundowning, you know how much more this song hits. That ending was so deep. Not many artists can accomplish that. Huge rounds of applause Sleep Token.

For all the people who mentioned call backs from their 3 albums....there are songs in Euclid that mentioned their music from 2016. They did 2 Eps before Sundowning. check them out as the line-This Bough Has Broken Through-came from a song named When The Bough Breaks from their 1st Ep named One and it was released in 2016.

it pisses me off when the people listening and reacting to this song don't have a visible holy shit moment when the call back to the very first song on sundowning comes in.
