NIghtmare Version was created for their QUEENDOM Performance. You really have to check their live stage for this. There is also a Halloween Version with Special Choreo MV. The original version is a ballad, thus making this a masterpiece of a remix.

Probably the most talented group in kpop, they are amazing, and Soyeon is THE rapper in kpop, her beginnings were in battle rap, and she compose and produce most of their music, the dark side of this girls is just beautiful

Noo, listening to this without watching the live Queendom performance must be a crime or something! Definitely check it out! Acting is on point! The variations are so drastic because you’re not seeing what’s happening on stage for this performance. It flows a lot better when you’re watching whole performance piece

Almost, but what I am getting is a bit different. She basically knows at least at some level that he doesn't love her any more. She is in a very unhealthy place, torn between wishing he would finally tell her the truth, and end the torment, and wishing he'd say the opposite, so she could stay with him, even if it was a lie. The original is a straight-up sad ballad, very beautiful, very sad. For the show Queendom, Soyoen suggested rearranging it, adding madness, horror and rage. The two are very, very different; it is not a simple remix. As others say, this was composed in large part with the performance in mind - even if you don't end up recording it, watching the live on Queendom is a must. I say this every time: it is the best stage of anything that I have ever seen. Ever.

Yes this is a masterpiece and a movie (like song) The original song from their album I MADE by Soyeon is a sad ballad song, there is no rap and the singers/narrator plaid for a straight answer, "it's hurt but I want a clear answer" The remix made by Soyeon for the Queendom show is an eerie song, with added rap, and the meaning it is almost the same but no, "don't say No say Yes, say Yes or you'll regret it" is the meaning of the remix The lyrics have been twitched to match the intended nightmare vibe

Many people have said this already, but I just want to add a voice of agreement. This version of the song is a performance, and there's two ways of watching the performance. The Original Queendom performance is INCREDIBLE, as is the Halloween dance practice. The song sounds great to listen to alone, but it's half the story.

personally i think this song is a masterpiece, especially when it comes to the production. they portrayed the nightmare so well, and their voices and emotion makes everything come together so scarily amazing that i was in complete awe when i first heard the song.

Yes it sounds like a movie because it is built up like a story The original song is from I MADE mini album of the group and written and composed but Soyeon, the original song is more a ballad song/ sad song, this version is so beautiful and emotional The nightmare version is a remixed by Soyeon for a survival show (on mnet k-pop channel), they showcase this nightmare version with a full performance, this performance is highly recommended (I recommend you the 4:34 version and not the 5:02, the long version shows the other contestants reactions, it cut the song) They also recorded a choreography for the nightmare version with Halloween theme, really worths it too
