(Literally a fact.) George liked that bit! When he had his first life scare, in Austria I believe, he went into a comma I believe for 10 days. When coming out of It he was speaking with a different English accent, It was quite funny, however, the Drs. were scared silly. When getting the media was there, of course, he took the time ( as much as he could) & said how thankful he was to still be here, & so thankful That he realized how much his fans really cared. He was surprised by that. He also apologized for not being able to respond back to them at that time. Now, you tell me how many artists, after such a life scare would take the time to do that ? Along with saying thank you from the bottom of his heart! That's really all that he wanted to say. Anyhow before I write another chapter in my book, It's plain to see just how much George was loved, profoundly loved! I'm so glad you're getting by chance to be introduced to the seasons of George's life. He is unforgettable! LOL, my friend, ENJOY!

The song is just about a relationship. He isn't an actual "student", and she isn't an actual "teacher". He's just a guy with a broken heart, who isn't sure he's ready to get into another relationship with somebody who could potentially break his heart again. The last "teacher" he had made him cry...that's just the last person that he was with, who taught him about love & relationships.

The concept was very fast. This song was only conceived in only eight hours and was a one take song instrumental and vocals. He wanted a minimal arrangements because this was so sad. It's very different to the first ballad of the album ''Father Figure'' (very RnB) and enter more in the emotional and sadness side of him. It's was a another n.1 single in US when it's came out. In the interview of 2010, George cited to his favorites songs of the album was this song and ''Father Figure''.

You need to listen to George Michael's song Praying For Time. It is arguably the best song ever. It's a gorgeous piece about how people react in times of crisis. Absolutely beautiful For a good upbeat dance song of GM's I love his I'm Your Man. Thar was Wham! Butt sill all GM.
