GNR is probably the swaggiest Rock band ever.

The lyrics and the instrumental arrangement in this song is really off the chain good! There's a subtle intro, a dramatic build, exciting climax, an excellent vocal and instrumental bridge, a smooth decline and back to a subtle outro. Axl Rose vocals are truly something most rockers would give their right arm for. Instantly recognizable, full of drama (in a very good way), colorful and most of all HYP-FREAKING-NOTIC. Got to give that man his due. "ESTRANGED" is another AWESOME G-N-R Hit!

Interesting visuals. Reminds me of the story the man that lived in the valley by the creek/river. Everyone knew the storm coming was going to flood everything, but one man stayed and said God wouldn’t let anything bad happen to him. Many people try to help him in various ways even after it started flooding. The man refuses and eventually dies. He then sees God and ask why he didn’t save him. God details each person he sent to get him to leave. The visual of Axl floating out in the ocean with his band mates trying to save him with a floaty, boat, and helicopter is representative of the man that is refusing help. He’s not listening to anyone despite the good intentions around him and feels alone despite the love shown to him by others.
