KARD is such an underrated artist in South Korea, mainly because of their perception that co-ed groups aren't popular as opposed to girl groups or boy groups, which is a shame because they are SOOOO TALENTED and have bops for days. However in the US and Latin America they have a vast fanbase. Their concept is unique and their group name KARD represents the membersas it goes: K (King) = BM (leader) also known as the Tiddie Committee Gang Leader 🤣🤣🤣 A (Ace) = J. Seph R(jokeR)= Somin and Jiwoo.. Somin is known as the Black Joker and Jiwoo is known as the Color Joker D= hidden carD (which is the name of their fandom) BM and J.Seph are the main rappers but also are sub-vocalists and Somin and Jiwoo are main vocalists but also sub-rappers..

The song is pretty much about abuse and different types. Bm is standing for Physical abuse (Blond guy), J-Seph stands for cyber violence(Black haired rapper), Somin stand for Verbal abuse (long black hair) and Jiwoo stands for Psychological Violence (Harley quinn looking girl). All of their looks, clothing and lyrics are written to talk of the specific type of abuse they are standing for. Imo one of the most unique and well excecuted concepts in kpop.

Ohmygod yesss !!! Kard is criminally underrated they have such unique concept . Thank you for reacting to them. I think they said in an interview that this song represents verbal abuse . Like Somin represents verbal abuse or manipulation and constant criticism. Jiwoo shows a toxic relationship and how it is to get attached to the abuser and finding no way out and deluding yourself into loving them because the abuser made you dependent on them . BM shows how verbal abuse is when no one take any action against it saying "I don't give damn about you" which just increases the verbal abuse and j.seph is kinda tricky because it feels like he is volatile and lashing out on faceless people because of some trauma , it might represent the keyboard warriors who try to put down celebrities through internet by their disgusting words . And at the end we can see her Shoot herself maybe she is destroying the damaged part of herself that's hurting her. This comment is all over the place but I hope it still makes some sense.

KARD are amazing! Very seriously underrated. BM is the main dancer and he raps (he’s the big blonde guy) and JSeph is also a rapper (the dark hair guy), then the girl with b&w hair is Jiwoo and she’s a dancer and singer and rapper and the last girl with purple hair is Somin and she’s the main singer.

KARD is a 4 membered co-ed group from DSP entertainment, that officially debuted on July 19th 2017, they just had their 3 year anniversary. They first put out projects to see if people would like a co-ed group, so that they could become an official group later on, so they put out 3 projects/songs, the songs were: -Oh NaNa (December 13th, 2016) -Don't Recall (February 16th, 2017) -Rumor (April 24th, 2017) And then they Debuted with Hola Hola on July 19th 2017. (the comebacks after that in order are: you in me, ride on the wind, bomb bomb, dumb litty, red moon and then this one, gun shot.) Fun fact: they went on mutiple tours worldwide with only those 3 songs, because they were so known already, they're especially known in South America. They aren't really known in South Korean tho, they've only had one concert there that was last year, but because of Jiwoo's performances on the show Good Girl, she did trend on a Korean website mutiple times. The members are: J.Seph: his name is Kim Taehyung, yes like V from BTS. He's the oldest and was born on the June 21st, 1992. (the one that rapped in the second verse), most underrated in my opinion. (he's about to enlist in the army this year so this was maybe their last comeback with him before that😔) BM (Big Matthew): his Korean names are Kim Jinseok/Kim Woojin, he was born on October 20th, 1992 and he's from LA (the tall rapper, that rapped in the beginning). He's the most known one in my opinion, since a lot of memes are made about him and people know him even without knowing the group. Somin: her name is Jeon Somin (same name as another known celebrity in Korea from the variety show Running man.). She was born on August 22nd, 1996 (The girl with purple hair) Jiwoo: Her name is Jeon Jiwoo. She's the youngest of the group and she was born on October 4th, 1996. (The girl with white/black hair) (she participated on a show called good girl and her performances on it were amazing, please check it out) *The girls were both born in 96, whilst both guys were born in 92, and the girl also have the same surname, as well as they guys also have the same surname* *Each member represents a card:* K: King card (BM) A: Ace card (J.seph) R: Color JokeR, Black JokeR, (Jiwoo, Somin) D: Hidden karD (fandom, but also in their predebut projects they use to have a hidden kard/member who you'd see appearing in the mv, like how oh nana features, Lee Youngji, former member from Kara, which is from the same company and disbanded a few years ago. Don't recall had a hidden version of the song, also had an mv, which was an english version and in the hidden version of Rumor, which was the dance version in different places, had the choreographer of the song as the hidden kard, you see her usually in the center of that song with her hair styled in a bun. *btw: If you see people say big tiddie committee, it's because bm in 2019 started calling his (idol) friends, that work out, big tiddie men and also the big tiddie gang (he even held up a sign above, wonho's head from monsta x during the end of a live broadcast saying big tiddie gang- lmao) and made big tiddie committee a thing, which is a known meme in the kpop community and which is also why bm is usually referred to as the big tiddie committee president, big tiddy dude, CEO of big tiddies etc. bm aso has a clothing line called staydium and he earlier this year launched the big tiddie gang clothing merch lmao, the profits from the sales were donated to breast cancer awareness and research :'), bang chan from stray kids is also in the committee, he said that cuz bm said that he can be in it, that he will train hard for it lmao (cuz bm shouted him out and said that he's a part of it)* But nowadays I feel like they're underrated/underappreciated since people usually just know of them, but don't really listn to their music, and then say that all their music sounds the same, while they've never heard a b-side or basically an album of theirs.

I love their songs too.. I'm a BTS stan and I love their music ,but I love KARD to they have a lot of Latin influences..

Kard is fire, I like how they're switching up the status quo and also they seem to be really into taking inspiration from other industries such as the Latin scene which first intrigued me about them. They go so hard.

I interpreted the video/song as someone finally getting the courage to leave an abusive relationship. They show two 'selves' - the members that are injured, cut, and bleeding are their current selves, after all the abuse. The ones without injuries are still in the relationship and deluding themselves into thinking they're fine. The very end, where Jiwoo shoots 'herself', means she's killing her past self, the one foolish enough to follow and continue to love her abuser. Ties back to the line 'I've bled enough." FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! KARD is the only co ed group at the moment (that I know of) and are extremely underrated and disliked in South Korea because of it. It's painful because their own won't appreciate their talent, but we LOVE THEM over here in Latin America ❤️. BM (Big Mathew) is the leader of the group. He's from L.A., so he's fluent in English. Main rapper and dancer and he wrote this song (and a lot of their other stuff). He has solo music as well. He used to be in a pod cast with DIVE STUDIOS on Get Real. He's really cool and a very nice guy. J. Seph is the oldest, right now serving in the military, they released this song just before he had to enlist last year. He's really funny and sweet. He's the main rapper and is also involved with the writing process. (I think they all are, but it's mostly BM and him). Somin is the main vocalist and sub rapper. She's incredibly talented and has been in the industry longer than the rest of them. She's really sweet and is kinda of BM's right hand. He values a lot her opinion since she's been longer in the industry. Fun fact, she appears on the BORN HATER music video of Epik High. Jiwoo is the maknae of the group, she's funny and kinda the main master of mischief along side with J.Seph, is funny cause it's always the eldest and the youngest who are like that (reminds me of Jin and Jungkook 😂💜), she can be very blunt and savage with the rest of the guys. She's main vocalist and sub rapper as well, she's also incredibly talented. She appeared on a show competition last year called GOOD GIRL alongside other great singers and rappers (all female), she was pure FIRE. You definitely need to check out the songs she made while being there, they are SO SO GOOD!!!!!!!! (GOOD GIRL - "WITCH" (sung along 4 other participants of the show) and Jung Jiwoo - "Wet" (her solo song)). There's so much to tell about them, PLEASE research and react to more of their stuff 🙏🏻❤️.

KARD is the best coed group in kpop for me, they have their own concept, meaningful lyric, dope beat n etc. Most of their song is my jam. BM wrote and produced this. He also has two solo mv's you should check out both. Yhey have 2 very different sounds. He was on get real podcast for a long time and is one of the nicest, real, approable idols out there. I love there earliest projects. Their first 6 songs were all so well written but I love gunshot too. Great song. Before gunshot they dig a very sexy club party vibe for several which was well produced but not my favorite. Though the lat8n flaver of some of the tracks was so nice.

Omg Skillet was my favorite band for years! I listened to it all the time until I found BTS hahaha Jiwoo voice in this song really reminds me of the female singer in Skillet

oh no you opened a big scar when you mentioned skillet, i used to listen a lot to this band with my sister back in high school(8 or 10 years ago), monster, comatose, hero, awake and alive, whisper in the dark, their songs were kind of a therapy to me whenever i feel angry, sad or any strong emotion their songs help a lot, you feel like someone understands you.

I do not like their every song but this one is very cool, an I like the fact that they are made of women and men, the same number of each. BM recently drop an album if I'm not mistaken. The song is about verbal abuse, KARD wanted to address it and how harmful it is, thus the lyrics are about a verbally abusive relationship and deciding to try to get out of it. This the lyrics ‘your words are like a gunshot’. But! Your interpretation is really cool as well and it can definitely be interpreted as that as well!! The fact you caught the double meaning right away is impressive. People never analyze both lyrics and video content and sometimes the song is more relationship based, but depending on how you view it, you can get other meanings from it and the music video tends to correspond with that. It's ironic that KARD puts out this song and 6 months later Somin (and others) is slandered by the lies of an ex-teammate, essentially halting everything she does for months because of the public backlash. My interpretation is that shot herself, like the bad/toxic version of herself, at the end, and in the beginning you see her zip up a body bag, which represents the cyclic nature of abuse (whether to the self or others).

KARD! YES THIS GROUP IS SO EPIC. This song was really well written and produced. They have such a unique sound and dynamic and the members are crazy on another level talented. Since you are into rapping, i can recommend you 13IVI by BM (the Blonde guy in the beginning) it's pretty much a full on rap song from his own album this year. In my opinion KARD is really underrated and they have many different kinds of song worth checking out :)

Okay, let me edit this cause you deserve an explanation: So they all represent different types of violence and you grasped most of the song message tbh, but also there's a lot of imagery in this video that needs to be addressed, like the scene with Somin and the pencils representing bad comments and media and articles about herself, since she has been attacked quite a lot. Another thing is the ending, if you notice, the gun that Jiwoo is using is made of paper, it's representing words and how they shoot through the heart and kill you from the inside, hence why she is killing herself because words get to her. However, the last lyric she says "I've bled enough" instead of "I'm bleeding love" so her killing herself can also represents her killing that part of herself that actually believe these words and deciding not to care anymore, which again does reference to BM's lyrics in his verse when he says "I don't give a damn about you, it's pain" so she is done with the pain and the hurt. Also, look deeper into this group, tbh their "roles" in the group are there just as a label tbh because they are super versatile. Jiwoo is lead singer but she can also rap and is a main dancer along with BM, but ALL of them can dance. Somin's voice is amazing. BM is also a rapper aside from his dance skills, and J. Seph is an amazing vocalist too, asides from rapping.

If you like podcasts you should check out the Dives studios ( on yt with video, spotify, apple music). The blonde guy BM( big Matthew, he is korean but raised in the US) was a host on the last season of 'Get Real' ( a podcast of the DS). The hosts of the Dive studios are usually kpop-idols, korean singers, rappers or just people who are in the korean entertainment industry and they talk about a lot of stuff like the idol-life, daily life, hustling as idols and more. They also get other idols, producers and singers/ rappers on the podcasts as guest. Also Ph-1 (Harry, the first rapper in 'The Purge' with the bandana) is now a host on Get Real! Most of the podcasts are in English but some are subtitled ( if the guest only speaks korean). So maybe check it out!
