This laddie has a brilliant voice and is a fantastic songwriter. He suffers with mental health issues and Touretts syndrom. While playing at Glastonbury last year (2023) he got so bad with his Tics and the crowd finished his song for him. That's what you call True fans, they could see him struggling and helped him out. My heart was breaking for him 💔 Hopefully he's on the road to recovery now and we'll hear more of his songs sung by himself. True Scotsman through and through. X 💛💛💛💛💛

The Uk video for this song with Peter Capaldi, a great actor who is a distant relative of Lewis is a much more heartfelt video which is worth watching as it enhances the feeling of the song much more. The video will bring you to tears. It has the saddest storyline of any music video I’ve ever seen.

Lewis Capaldi has a voice and heart of gold. He is such a straight up, genuine human being and he's absolutely hilarious. Even just his interviews are worth watching for sure. I second the Graham Norton interview, he was on the couch with Jim Carrey and was able to hold everyones attention.

This was a huge hit in the UK, and spent 7 weeks at number 1 in the UK singles chart in 2019.. It's a song I never get tired of hearing, and I absolutely love this amazing, talented guy. I'm so glad you've discovered him too!

My husband died last year (May 2019) This was one of the songs we had at his funeral. You need to see the other video that goes with this, with Peter Capaldi playing a man who has just lost his wife. It is so emotional yet beautiful.

From a little town called Whitburn in Scotland we have lewis capaldi, also an xfactor winner Leon Jackson, a love island winner Paige lewis ex girlfriend, an indy car champion Dario Franchitti (he was married to Ashley Judd Hollywood actress) and in the next town we had Susan Boyle and David Tennant born and raised. Not bad for a population over just over 10,000 citizens. Whitburn also has a great band called The Snuts

I think Lewis & Adele are the best singers the UK has produced in decades! Hes such an odd looking guy yet his voice turns him into a Prince He is just phenomenal I dont think ive disliked anything hes ever sung! Poor Lewis, as of now hes got Tourettes Syndrome & he gets Mute at times in his concerts & cant sing but to see & hear the audience sing it for him is so so wonderful & makes you cry to see the emotion on his face... There are some exceptional humans on our planet who have talents that effect people deep into their core... Lewis Cappaldi is one of these rare humans & Adele is another. Ive often wondered what Adele AND Lewis singing a duet would sound like?? Maybe it would break open the heavens or flames would spontaneously combust Or crack in the time/space continuum would rent open something overwhelming... His voice is a definate God given gift! Thanks & Peace 🇬🇧👧

Jovaughn, this is why I watch YOU & not other "reactionaries"! You are such a sweet person with a kind heart & beautiful smile. I also feel deep, emotional compassion for others & music stirs my soul. I can't watch ads about starving children, the elderly & abused animals. It rips my heart out! I listened & loved all of his music for months before I saw what he looked like. I would have never guessed that was him. Niall Horan really helped him get popular. They’re great friends and have toured together. Lewis has a great personality.

To me, this song is about having your heart broken after finally putting yourself out there completely again. The video then shows how when you're devastated no one can crack through the layers of pain. In the real world time is the only salve. Then the cycle repeats. Until you're a shell that can't fall hard like that ever again.

Love Lewis!!!!!! He is so amazing!!! And you're right, he doesn't look like someone who would have a voice like that!!! And fun fact... he's really good friends with Niall Horan (he saw him and said he was great and could come and play a show with him anytime). And he's extremely funny and his accent is really thick.... you should watch some interviews with him
