The "Other Guy" is Chester Bennington. The late, great Chester Bennington. Lost to us waaaay too soon. Linkin Park is a rabbit hole worth your time. Be sure to check out Numb, Crawling, Somewhere I Belong, Iridescent, Castle of Glass, Faint, Lost In The Echo, get funky and do A Light That Never Comes, enjoy his 17 second scream on Given Up, and the heartbreaking One More Light.

That is none other than Mike Shinoda rapping for Linkin Park. Chester Bennington is the singer/screamer extraordinaire. This song right here is one of the many reasons why Linkin Park is my favorite group. For more great songs to react to by them I suggest Waiting For The End When They Come For Me Qwerty ( Summer Sonic Tokyo 2006) All For Nothing ( ft. Page Hamilton) there is no video for this one Lost In The Echo Castle of Glass Burn It Down Faint Easier To Run From The Inside Lying From You Forgotten Somewhere I Belong Given Up. There is an epic scream in this one so pausing after Chester screams God is going to mess up the flow Powerless. I absolutely love Chester's vocals on this song. The Little Things You Give Away Hit The Floor Wretches and Kings Iridescent The Catalyst Soul Song ( not really a Linkin Park song, but it is Chester Bennington. It's a young Chester, before Linkin Park.

Mike Shinoda & Chester Bennington had the perfect combination of voices & styles. I don't think anyone could take either of their places to create this sound. Mike is one of the clearest rappers I've ever heard, with a great flow; & Chester...well, he poured himself so emotionally into the music it had to have taken a toll. He is missed.

The video for on the crowd fight scenes is running backwards, the band forwards. From their 3rd record Minutes to Midnight. Mike Shinoda is the rap vocals, lead singer is the late Chester Bennington, RIP Their most viewed video is for Numb with over 1.7 Billion KZfaq views. Anything from their 1st record, 'Hybrid Theory' is awesome too

Linkin Park has some very deep and very dark lyrics - you can feel the struggles that the singer went through, and ultimately what took him from us. I’m not a football fan, but I was rooting for your Bengals and kept checking your Twitter feed during the final minutes and the OT just to sense your enthusiasm. Congrats!

I was working at 99x in Atlanta.. for our "Big Day Out" 3 days of concerts .. we had as an "Up & Coming band" this new group who was just releasing the 1st album ... Linkin Park.. I was assigned to shuttle them around Atlanta all week.. to make sure they got to interviews and just stay entertained.. shocked me to see these kids who introduced their selves as the band.. . was a great week.. and some amazing kid.. They got asked in the interview about the lack of profanity on their 1st album.. they all laughed and said their moms had told them no cussing 😊

I'm with everyone else! RIP CHESTER BENNINGTON ✨ his voice & style was epic, he made his mark as a true legend along side so many others who made their mark ON the world (NOT JUST LIMITED TO MUSICIANS OR CELEBRITIES) but also for those who lived everyday lives, that made a difference in someone elses life but sadly struggled with their own demons and could not overcome their own pain. That's one thing that stands out to me, is how so many ppl relate to the music & lyrics and shares the same feelings and daily depression or battles (whatever it may be) as those that set it to music helping many to deal, cope, and even overcome very real issues and problems within themselves, but sadly they felt they couldn't withstand their own pain any longer. In the music industry....Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Kurt Cobain (?) Etc and so many countless others that are legends in their own right, not just as musicians or celebrities but as human beings, that no matter how many fans and ppl around them they felt alone inside or no matter how much money or fame they felt empty inside. Mental illness and or addiction sometimes go hand in hand but no matter the situation it's very real and very deep. It saddens me bc I've experienced similar feelings and been to the point to where I felt I no longer wanted to exist on earth, so it's bittersweet when I hear Linkin Park with Chester or songs with other musicians who had similar issues and fates! These are usually the musicians who sing, play, and write with so much conviction and passion and believe in the music they make, because they understand where they've been and what the music means not only to them but to the listeners in the world to have their own personal perception of a piece of work that's so powerful, it could bring simple feelings of joy or that could potentially be life changing to some that can connect and relate!

Linkin Park has such a great catalog of songs. Anything from the Hybrid Theory album is amazing. Other song of theirs to check out "Breathe", "One Step Closer", "Papercut", "Points of Authority", "Crawling", "Lying From You", "Numb", "Somewhere I Belong", "What I've Done". Since you also mistakenly mentioned Blink-182, definitely look into "All the Small Things", "Adam's Song", "What's My Age Again". Bengals had a crazy game today. The defense did amazing hold the Chiefs back at the end. Best of luck in two week.

YOU NEED to do Given Up. "Given Up" is a song by the American rock band Linkin Park. The song was released as the fourth single from their third studio album, Minutes to Midnight. It was released on February 17, 2008, in the UK as a digital download. The song was not as much of a success as what was expected in the US, although it did manage to chart high on the Alternative Songs music chart. The song is also unique because of Chester's ability to hold a note for 17 seconds

Met Mike Shinoda(the rapper) at an airport, and was super chill, said thanks, had seen them literally the weekend before. He was like, "Aw cool man, and thanks nobody ever recognizes me."(Lies). And asked if I wanted to come in the first class club for whatever airline. He'd buy me a couple beers. Shot the shit with him for like an hour. People came up a couple times. And when he bounced, he was like. "This guys cool in here, right?" And tipped the bartender. "Yessir!". Gave me dap, and bounced. One of the most down to earth cats I've ever met.

I agree. Don't like the " screaming " in heavy metal. Makes me think of anger and hate. But whoever is the lead I thought " that's different." I felt the pain in what they are singing about. It became a scream of pain. If one has ever felt pain that deep, they will definitely discern the difference, hence the true foundation for the " scream."

Chester Bennington was the singer/screamer…RIP. His voice has been studied in college music classes. He could go from this sweet melodic singing to screaming and never lost his voice. He knew how to use his voice and breath control properly. Listen to “In The End”, “Crawling”, “Numb” (those were some of the most mainstream songs) to hear his vocal range. You really can’t go wrong with any of their songs, Mike Shinoda’s rapping is also a costar that can’t be overlooked. Actually, the whole band is a standout

This is probably my very favorite LP song. Chester was an incredible artist. I miss him. Try their song "Numb" sometime. It's awesome.

LOVE Linkin Park!!!! RIP Chester. One of the other groups I listen to in high school along with Evanescence and Pink that was an everyday listen. In the End, Faint, and Numb are a couple of my favorites from them. They do have Numb/Encore ft Jay Z but I like the OG more but still a good song to listen too. Definitely need more Linkin Park under you belt. They are AMAZING!!!

Linkin Park's Bleed It Out and Aerosmith's Hangman's Jury are 2 of my go to songs when I want to get the heart pumping and the blood flowing through my veins.

So many memories after an abusive encounter with my foster parent I would make way to my room put this on and cut myself hoping to bleed out to this song. Healing is a life long journey and this band helped me on my journey.

You should react to "A Place for my Head" live from Texas. That performance gives me chills! Everyone in the group just shines in their art and the energy is through the roof! Also love "Points of Authority", The whole "Reanimation" album is phenomenal! 😃😍
