This song unlike what most people think was not wrote about Loretta's husband. I read in her autobiography she said a fan came back stage before one of her shows and was crying cause her man was there with another woman and she pointed him out to Loretta cause he was in the front row and Loretta said she ain't woman enough to take your man. And then she sat down and wrote the song before the show that night and sang it with that cheater in the front row (unaware it was aimed at him).

Loretta Lynn also had a great sense of humor. In 2020 Kid Rock and Loretta Lynn played a prank on their fans by making them think they got married on a Friday. Loretta Lynn revealed on the following Monday that it was all a joke and that Kid Rock and Loretta really didn't get married.

If you get a chance to watch her true story movie Coal Miner's Daughter it is a very good movie her and Patsy Cline were best friends and it shows how hard she took it when Patsy passed away and when you watch it the bologna statements she makes will make you laugh also Patsy Cline's movie is a good movie to watch also
