NONONO UMBELIEVABLE!!! You are slowly entering into the world of our rock history. From Los Abuelos de la Nada I suggest you to react to "LUNES POR LA MADRUGADA". However "Mil Horas" talks about the feeling of the soldiers during the war of 1982 between argentina and england for the Malvinas Islands(The Falklands for english people). Please, if you read this comment can you look for my other comment in your reaction of Charly Garcia? THANKS FOR REACTING THESE SONGS FROM Argentina!!!

The lyrics of this song are quite enigmatic, it is not known if it talks about a heartbreak, or drugs, or suicide, it can be interpreted in different ways.

Los Abuelos De La Nada were repeatedly asked by their Label to make an English Language record. Since they never obliged that ‘request’, they were pretty much only published, and promoted, in Argentina.

This was the first band of Andrés Calamaro, who has his own career and he also was in Charly Garcia's band in the early 80's. This song is a complete Classic! Regards from Chile :-)

Ohh, this video would have made a really good "Nostalgia night" hehe. Here in Uruguay we have a tradition that every 24th of August we have parties (at a disco or we just get together with friends at someone's home and we listen and dance to 70s 80s and 90s music till the morning comes ('cos the 25th is a national holiday and nobody works). We call this night "noche de la nostalgia", and it's been a fun tradition for a few decades now. So unknowingly you got perfect timing, my friend XD

It happens that you are opening a huge door ... Argentine rock in its various variants was a kind of beacon for almost all of Latin America, but record labels somehow did not promote the artists to central markets (US or Europe) Soda Stereo, Virus, Spinetta, Fito Paez, Sumo, Divididos, Rata Blanca, Miguel Mateos, Enanitos Verdes just to name a few, you can find rock, new wave, pop rock, indie, hard rock, metal just from 80s, 90s

hello :) this song is bout Malvinas (Falklands?) islands. supposedly, the boy singing the song is a military whose girlfriend has broken up with him right after coming back from the war. back then, the dictators called young boys to do military service and, consequently, a lot of them died during the war. personally, I believe this song is about how looked down the soldiers was at the time, since the dictators made citizens believe we had everything in our favor, and we were winning. so, when they came back, *some* people thought they were useless. stupid and sad, but true. that's why, in my opinion, you can hear such a lonely and disappointed voice. (literally, all the media was manipulated, you had to go out of the country to know that we were losing. like, even Maradona, a living legend at the time, knew about the truth only when he had to go play in another country.) pd: me gusta cómo dice "loss abueloss di la nara" y "mill jorass" jjsjs.
