You reacted to two of my most favorite bands right now; Lovebites and Band-Maid, so you earn my subscription!! 😆 Jokes aside, thanks to react to them, yes Japanese all female bands are getting more and more recognizable now because of their crazy talents and skills, which is of course very good to know. This song particularly has a very positive lyrics that can uplift us especially in this rough time (with the coronavirus outbreak and all). You can check out the lyrics (it's in English, all of Lovebites' songs have English lyrics) by turning on the caption when you play and listen to this song again. I always love the symbolism in this video when samurai-Midori half unsheathes her sword while guitarist-Midori starts shredding the solo. Like "just a small demonstration of what I'm capable of" and then sheathes it as the solo ends like "now you know what's up"

The Energizer Bunny has nothing on Haruna. She's like a tiny Honda CRX with a V8 engine packed into it. She's got so much non-stop energy & talent packed into that tiny 4'9" frame of hers.

Great reaction bro. Japan for me really is the epicenter for female rock/metal bands. You can check other bands like Bridear - Ignite, Aldious - We Are, Mary's Blood - Marionette

With all due respect to @Brad Kornatowski: I love Babymetal, but there were a bunch of these bands before them, starting with Show-Ya and Shonen Knife in the early 1980s. Aldious, Cyntia, existTtrace... and lots more. The big difference is that in all of these other bands, the girls actually play their own instruments. Babymetal's great sound comes from the backing band, Kami Band, which is officially not part of Babymetal (though they are). Just wanted to set the record straight. Thank you thank you , thank you. I was just about to write the exact same thing and read your comment. I don't mind Baby Metals music but get so tired when so called metal fans refer to them as an amazing band. They are an idol group that uses Metal as their forum, they are not a band persay. The band that plays for them are a bunch of interchangeable faceless musicians that Baby Metal fans could not probably even name.

well it's official-after almost 67 years on this planet and hearing everything musically from the late 50's on up i can honestly say this is my favorite band of all time.the talent, songwriting,instrumental ability and beauty of these girls is mind numbing-they have been around for 3 1/2 years with 4 cd's of non stop shredding insanity.nothing i have ever heard comes close.i am so in love with every aspect of this group i just may lose my mind! i'm glad i am around for this -now they need their first tour of the usa to make my life complete.

LOVEBITES's reaction was very good. Twin guitar solos are included in almost all songs, which is very good. Everyone has high skills, including vocals. Sorry for the small number of MVs. We recommend Golden Destination [MUSIC VIDEO] or The Crusade-MUSIC VIDEO. ＜Postscript＞ ”LOVEBITES - M.D.O. ☆ Live” The live video was uploaded three weeks ago. I saw BAND-MAID's Puzzle reaction. They're trying new things like putting guitar on vocals. I want to be at the forefront of the world as a legitimate rock band, but what about you? Next, Dice-(Official Music Video) and PLAY-Live are recommended. BABYMETAL is the first band to jump out of Japan and into the world. A band with a dance style but with straight treble vocals without vibrato. The back band is played by top-class musicians in Japan. The goal is to sing all metal genres, so there is no tendency for songs, but it matches with a very high balance. It's a bit long, but I recommend Road of Resistance-Live in Japan (OFFICIAL) or Ijime, Dame, Zettai-Live at Sonisphere 2014, UK (OFFICIAL). By the way, there's Mary's Blood, a band that hasn't jumped out into the world, but has a strong ability. Japanese men like work, so there are a lot of talented female bands. It's a new story I just learned today. A girl who declared a professional guitarist in elementary school became a high school student and formed a band. Definitely. I too was just going to put this same Li-sa-X Band link to “One More Chance is Enough”. Don’t know it it’s fast paced enough for you, odd time signature, 7-string, moody prog shred, by women. Oh, this one has Shane Gaalaas on drums and Billy Sheehan on bass. I think you're overstating Babymetal's impact. There have been many earlier Japanese musicians and bands with some international success, but they are mostly known among music enthusiasts I guess.

Dude, there are SO many awesome bands coming out of Japan. BABYMETAL was just a start. Band-Maid, Lovebites, Mary's Blood, Bridear, Aldious, Destrose, Fate Gear. I don't I look into "regular" music anymore. Japan quenches my thirst for great music on it's own! If you do a reation video of Aldious, do We Are. Great song and video. Drummer Marina is Terry Bozio's stepdaughter!

Ummm...Baby Metal was not the start. Show Ya started in the 90's. Destrose in Various forms, Aldious, Cyntia Marys Blood all started before Baby Metal. Baby Metal is not a band either, they are an idol group. Name the band members who have played for Baby Metal.....I actually like most of Baby metals music, but take them for what they are...a Japanese idol act, not a band.

Japanese metal is amazing in any kind of genre. Some of my favorite black/Depressive black metal bands come from japan. My favorite genre of music.

BabyMetal broke the ice for all these bands, now they are all scrambling to grab BMs coat tails. One thing you will notice BabyMetal doesn't use sex to sell... But yeah BandMaid, Lovebites and all these bands put out some awesome music, I find it refreshing compared to 90% of the grunt metal that has been coming out these days.

Nothing against Baby Metal, i like most of their music, but they are not a band. They are an idol act that uses metal as their concept, much like Dreamcatcher is a KPOP act that uses a J-rock sound as their concept, but they are not categorized as a rock band. Baby Metals "band" is a bunch of interchangeable, faceless musicians that most Baby Metal fans could not even name. Bands like Band Maid, Lovebites, Aldious, Mary's Blood etc are real musicians and fans can name all band members and the instruments they actually play. When he said Japanese bands like Band Maid and Baby Metal with 5 ladies that kick ass and play instruments I almost choked....Band Maid is a metal band, Baby Metal is an Idol act....big difference. Most of Kamen Rider girls songs had a heavy rock beat to them but are they considered a J-rock band, no...they are considered idols.

Well, I'm 68 going 69 and these ladies are extremely good but I still like Band Maid better. This band is excellent live also. I like shredding to a point but not for the entire length of a song. It's really all just a matter of taste. I'm not really into Dragonforce either and that's about the only other band I can compare Love Bites to. They never look like they're having fun on stage.

I hate comparisons of Band-Maid to Baby Metal. They should be contrasted. Band-Maid has made it to where they are the old fashioned way. The earned their way to the top going through some pretty lean years at first. Once they started being allowed to write their own music, they skyrocketed. Baby Metal is a corporate construct that had tons of money pumped into their act from the very beginning. Baby metal is no better than any K-Pop flash in the pan. Their shelf life will be short and Band-Maid will go on for quite a while.

Amen. Baby Metal fans have to realize Baby Metal is Japanese corporate idol act, not a band, so it irks me to no end when they compare bands like Aldious, Band Maid, Lovebites, Mary's Blood etc to Baby Metal...the former are actual bands, Baby Metal is a Japanese idol act....

I agree that comparing Babymetal to actual bands doesn't make much sense, but you don't have to put them down. And considering that they've been around for a while and still seem rather popular should indicate that there aren't going anywhere soon.
